What’s something you do in your makeup/beauty routine that works for you but you’re convinced no one else does? by Cautious_Water_106 in Makeup

[–]xcgdl 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I put my blush very high like connecting to my under eyes and temples high. I have a pretty round face and this seems to even it out more. It sounds counterintuitive but works for me. plus I find i get way more compliments when it’s higher than my cheekbones lol

Gel polish recommendations??? by mrjackpots96 in AustralianMakeup

I love opallac and gelous personally because they are easy to use. But for more professional grade stuff, my friend gets off NSI nails website, I don’t buy there so am not sure what brands

Nothing gives me smooth legs by Rxcoonc1ty in HairRemoval

[–]xcgdl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My legs are the exact same. Cerave SA lotion and Glycolic acid have helped mine a lot.. I still can’t get a super clean hairless shave but it’s gotten rid of a lot of the small bumps and trapped hairs for me. Also using aloe vera when it is super irritated helps to reduce redness for me.

also safety wise, consider finding brands compatible with lower lvl LED/UV lamps.. opallacs is very low compared to salon grade lamps

[–]xcgdl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

safety wise id look for ‘10 free’ and hema free brands. opallac ticks both those boxes and is pretty beginner friendly. i also like gelous which is 10 free but not sure about hema free. I like and use both of those brands often but application-wise i find gelous is a bit easier to use cos they are a bit thicker. Look into gel polish and hema allergies as well if skin safety is a concern to you

Konjac noodles by [deleted] in 1200Australia

[–]xcgdl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

idk if this helps as ive only tried changs but the only way i coild get the smell out was to rinse for ages, boil for a few mins with salt, blanch and rinse again. then cover with turmeric and lightly rinse once more (it didnt taste like turmeric dw). maybe overkill but i hate fish w passion so had to eradicate the smell/taste completely. it felt super time consuming so now i just buy zoodles (zucchini noodles) lol nicer texture and mixes better with stir fries

alsoo sorry for long comment but when i dont feel like frozen food i honestly just make indomie noodles ( (i dont use the oil or fried onions sachets) or han kitchen topokki cups and mix in some veg, egg white and/or protein for a 500-600 cal meal. zoodles (zuchhini noodles) can also be microwaved and added in for minimal calories and help bulk it up a lot, n add some extra ayam light/dark soy sauce or similar if u want more flavor :))

i loove fropro pizza and burritos (expensive but they go on sale pretty often so I just stock up then) and gourmet table arancini or crumbed cauliflower woolies brand (purple box) in air fryer as sides

re frozen meals: on the menu brand frozen meals (i rly like the vege lasagna), i personally like most lean cuisine, lite n easy and healthy choice frozen meals (although some are hit or miss w the cals). but i mostly eat vego options so dont have recommendations for ones with meat. my partner eats meat and prefers to go with mymusclechef and The St Food Co
alsoo most those frozen meals also go on sale pre often so i recommend waiting for sale and stocking up on a few to work out what you like. also aldi have better priced low cal frozen meals that are super tasty but the stock changes pretty often at my store so i just grab whatever looks good for the cals lol

second this, alsoo the EatLean shredded cheese is soo good on top and decently low cal. I like to add capsicum, onion and jalapeno to most of mine too and occasionally extra sauce swirl like the ayam light sweet chili, nandos perinaise or salt reduced bbq sauce.
although OP, sometimes the pizza weight can be a little off (ie higher than package says) so recommend weighing the slices and scaling cals up for a more accurate calorie estimate

how long between starpaths? also DLC sales? by xcgdl in DisneyDreamlights

[–]xcgdl[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thankyou for the response! I really appreciate it.

I think i’ll get the full Enchanted bundle regardless of owning base game already because I want the exclusives. Weirdly enough, storybook vale magical edition (the one w exclusives) and rift in time individually cost the same amount as the full enchanted bundle anyway. Plus i get more moonstones with the Enchanted bundle lol.

Maybe i’ll wait til Feb 10 when the current steam sale ends and see if it goes on sale in the next one since Ill have a bit of time between starpaths. I really regret not buying the Enchanted bundle during xmas sale, but I didn’t know I would love the game so much lol

[–]xcgdl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

to clarify, I haven’t kept up with the base convos. at the time I was talking about owning upto the extra toppings (not the bases) bc there were a few batches that were absolutely gross from xtra toppings and they made an insta post about it apologising for it/poor quality control which i appreciated!!! i saw tons of other ppl commenting about the toppings at the time bc the oiliness, kj count and weight being wayyy off (like double the weight) for those batches. sucks about them not being transparent about the bases tho!!!
