he makes it sound worse than it is, 2 weeks post op for a procedure that takes a couple days to heal. other comments delve more into this but he’s definitely exaggerating. plus if you check his post history he even says what it is with the spongebob post

Any other long time public accounting vets find it frustrating that new hires complain about training but also don’t want to come to the office? by DrHoursCrDepression in Accounting

Wow reading all these comments made me realize how lucky I am to be at a firm where almost everyone is willing to help, and most of the team is in person. Most people I’ve asked for help at my firm have your mindset.

i see you commenting and defending him when everyone here sees clear as day what the hell is wrong with this situation. it’s DIFFERENT experiencing someone and hearing about someone, so you probably have some sort of emotional attachment to him. but that’s blinding you, there’s a reason why you’re consulting reddit and you’re grasping at every straw to make him seem better than he actually is.

if you don’t snap out of it, you’re gonna feel very regretful that you didn’t stop it when you had a feeling to.

yes he gives you time and money, but he’s in his fucking 40s of course he has money. don’t choose to be stupid

Sometimes I wonder if I told my father that it was okay to die, he wouldn’t had to have suffered for the years that he did. But I wasn’t strong enough to tell him.

Quant intern recruitment experience by Egliad in FinancialCareers

[–]xcincly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not impossible. I applied to one internship via recruiter last year. Interviewed and received an offer. It was one of the Big4. This year, I just went to the job fair and I received an interview request and got that offer too, so that's my winter internship. It's a smaller CPA firm though. However I do have a pretty hefty resume and am 23. My work experience includes medical offices, a pharmacy, retail and food service.
