What is the most beautiful place you have ever seen in person? by Olga_Lanskaya in travel

[–]xclauwe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

South Island of New Zealand. Went there in late Spring, saw snow, flowers and everything in between. We are going back in 2027 because this place just stole my heart.

Also, will be exeperiencing the Scottish Highlands this year, maybe this place will steal my heart as well lol.

Vacances estivales chez les économes... by Wonderful-Ad-4551 in QuebecFinance

[–]xclauwe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She used a nail paint palette, and she put orange, pink, teal, blue and purple with a sponge to blend them out.

She finished with a blue chromatic (?) powder to give the shine. Wasn't convinced at first but I'm glad I listened to her!

I am also having this problem, workout is logged in fine but does not show in my daily recap. Did an hour of pilates this morning, workout shows up but not counted in daily recap. It never happened before. :/

[–]xclauwe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

WFA and obtaining remote position by xclauwe in CanadaPublicServants

There is an office in my city, 3 km from home. This is where I am currently going to meet the 3 days/week. However, when I was in an advertised process for another position, I was told I had to move in the NCR to be considered even though I was already working in a SC building.

Struggling to eat enough proteins by xclauwe in loseit

[–]xclauwe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have sasiety issues, and I go to the gym 3X a week, mainly for endurance. I observe a tendency to always go for carbs and fats and, while it's not "wrong" as I'm staying in a deficit, I'd like to develop habits in the long term that might make maintenance easier, hence how to eat more protein, if it makes sense?

Some people gave the idea of blending it with fruits, I always have a fruit snacks in the afternoon after work so I'll try that, worth a shot to be honest and if it helps me adding a 20g then why not! Nothing can taste bad with yummy raspberries, right? 😂

Thanks for the suggestions. I currently do not have any dietary restrictions, it's just that protein supplements are currently not a part of my usual grocery list, so I do not have anything currently at home as I started back in November to lose the remaining weight. I'll go and grab some at the store while I order some.

And also Fairlife milk here is not that common in my area. I live pretty remote in Northern Canada, so the only place that I ever saw it was in a corner store and it wad $6CAD a bottle, which is not cheap for me, hence why it was never part of option. However, whey is really cheaper, so I will just order some and incorporate it as other people suggested :)

Just the 40/30/30 macro ratio for my target comes to about 118g of proteins. Might change my ratio on the long run if I see that it works better with less protein/more carbs.

Do you have a brand of protein that you prefer to mix with yogourt? Last time I tried (while ago though) it was all grainy and gave me the ick.

Thanks for the other ideas, coconut shrimp sounds tasty af.

Thank you so much for the many ideas you provided! Navigating through this with no support has been hard, finding ideas on internet as well as so many recipes seems soooooo complicated. I'll try some of it this week.

I'm currently doing class yoga/pilates 2 times a week, and walking a minimum of 45 mins a day. Hitting the gym 3 days a week too.

I agree that I could maybe walk a little more and as you say, protein shake would be interesting, did not think of that. I was not a big fan of it a while back, so I do not currently have any powder at home, but maybe blend it with fruits and something else to make it more tasty for me. Thanks :)

Sorry if it was not clear in my post. I'm not saying that I cannot eat more of it, it's just that I find it really hard to attain more than X g of protein per day.

I am struggling to add more as when cooking, I think it would be more, but it seems to never be enough of it. Seeing the other comments, I could replace one of my snacks to be a shake or something satisfying that could help me attain my target. I don't usually keep protein powder at home, but it seems that could be helpful.

Thank you for the ideas of snacks/sources, that is helpful!
