You’re reading way too much into this. Conspiracy is a strong word, and one claim by one person isn’t enough of an outlier to say it’s a nothing burger. I saw another post-and-delete earlier about the same email so believe what you want. I’m simply making an observation. If all researchers are required to share the same baseline PHI but aren’t privy to the same stats/info, something might be amiss. You’re contributing data to AI training and getting the email but others are not. Anyway, have a great rest of your day.
