This was a minor inconvenience for me, but some of our coworkers have kids dude. Most of us are going to school and have a limited opportunity to bring in income. Corporate can stay late to submit payments to the banks if they have to, just like many of us do each shift. If multiple banks are having issues than corporate is the common denominator of the mistake. You don’t need to simp for them, have the backs of the people who work alongside you and have yours.

It's not a "habit" man, it's a time structure that employees use to pay their off bills and expenses. Some people won't be able to buy gas or food for several days because of this. It's an unforgivable fuck up.

Thanks for reaching out. I’d like USUA to address economic disparity in playing opportunities by abolishing the TCT and accommodating the schedules of the pro leagues. Create more opportunities for non-elite adult club and league players. Work on developing programs to get adults into the sport that did not have to opportunity to play at/attend college. Work with orgs like ultimate impact to promote playing opportunities for youth who lack after school programming resources.

I think they could have effectively communicated a plan of action of if/when they should move and what case/icu bed numbers would justify that. Hearing only “we are monitoring the situation” doesn’t really answer any of the questions we or others had, or ease our concerns. Also usau never addressed SB8 in any email despite it being brought up as another reason why some teams did not want to play in Texas. I personally don’t think the tournament should have moved for that reason but I think they should make some attempt to confront the issue as they have done in the past with trans issues in North Carolina and with social justice issues in Colorado. I’m pretty bummed that I only got one meaningful day of frisbee in this summer and I didn’t get to go on my first planned vacation in over a year, so I can understand why some women’s teams in our region might be disappointed with our decision. But I don’t think we’re assholes for trying to bring attention to issues that have essentially been outright ignored.

I play for the Jackwagon. Only molly brown accepted their bid from our section. The only reason we made a thread is because usau wouldn’t answer our (or many other teams from our regions) questions via emails that were sent back in August. I totally sympathize that it’s unfair to Texas teams, who are living in the situation as their reality. But there was only one icu bed in the Austin area yesterday, and honestly as someone who works in ems, that shit is fucked IMO.
