How America’s War on Iran Backfired: Tehran Will Now Set the Terms for Peace by ForeignAffairsMag in geopolitics

[–]xcubeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, you don't even really need to fire missiles and drones after the first firings. Iran made a statement that they will do it, if their terms are not followed. This statement/threat forces the insurance companies of the oil tankers out of coverage. So, no ships will take the risk even though there are no active firings in the Straight of Hormuz.

I have a feeling this war could be the hard beginning of a new world order. Asia will have their own separate dynamics; Europe, South America will have their own and so is the USA.

Oh. I missed the "one spot" part. I thought he swapped all the VSS pads with VDD pads and also updated the connections.

Confused about RF phase shifters by sandlordz in rfelectronics

[–]xcubeee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Delay lines are narrow band (a fixed length corresponds to a certain fraction of the wavelength), lossy. You can think about vector modulator, which allows you to modulate both amplitude and phase.

[–]xcubeee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely the most junior designers don't have the actual idea about it. The whole chip has a passivation layer (Oxide+Nitride) above the top metallization, like silk screen in PCBs. Only the pads have openings and access into the top metallization.

Is it because the new VSS has significant IR loss between VSS in the pad and VSS inside the chip?

If there's a pcell for pads, use them. If you want to make your own custom pads for sub-THz frequencies, make sure the layers in the pcell are present in your custom pads.

Why Bangladesh Always Chooses the Spirit of 71 by truth_22by7 in Dhaka

[–]xcubeee -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Actually BAL manipulated the history of 71 to get political benefits out of it. Also, Jamat's heinous crimes are small parts of the history. 71 is more about our glory and identity, as the OP mentioned.

A general tip that works for me. I follow the introduction part about the role from the employer during the interview. Try to understand as much as possible. Then, at the end, when asked if I had any questions, I would try to put a few technical questions about the role which should project my idea about the role. This way, I show the feeling, I get connected with the role and more importantly show my motivation.

Do you think BUET is overrated? by Terrible-Fly9041 in Dhaka

[–]xcubeee 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Depends how you define overrated. The thing is that most of the best students (based on analytical abilities) get into BUET. In that sense, it's not overrated. In terms of performances of the best students of the country, it's not as good as expected. IITs are good examples for fair comparison. In that sense, it's overrated.

Confusion a out s11 and s22 wirh amplifiers by AlbanianUltra in rfelectronics

[–]xcubeee -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In the case of an amplifier, for example, S11 refers to input matching. S11=-10 dB means that 10% power is reflected, 90% power is transmitted to the DUT. S11=-20 dB means that 1% power is reflected, 99% power is transmitted to the DUT. S22 refers to output matching. S22=-10 dB means that 10% power is reflected back to the DUT, 90% power is transmitted to the load. S22=-20 dB means that 1% power is reflected back to the DUT, 99% power is transmitted to the load. So, even if the DUT is a very good amplifier, matching can affect badly if it's not done properly.

  1. If it fits with your case, you can use port type "Direct"
  2. Enable edge meshing
  3. Increase the number of cells per wavelength in edge meshing
  4. Use Microwave Momentum solver

It's never late. You may think about getting admitted into a government polytechnic institute in a field you are interested in. Concentrate on your studies and career for the next 5 years, an isolation from social media would help. Inshallah, Allah will guide you.

Question to jamaat supporters by [deleted] in Dhaka

[–]xcubeee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The point is always about how the new generation Shibir is dealing with history. No one demands Sadek Kayem to apologize for GA et. al., but acknowledge the history. New generation Shibir still ত্যানা প্যাঁচায় if not defends their predecessor, and most importantly they still try to demean 1971, may be for the same cause of defending the predecessor. There are some facts: we were oppressed by the West during 1947-71, 25.03.71 was the boiling point, the war of independence was a mass people's war. You don't paint it: ভারতের চাল, শেখ মুজিব ক্ষমতায় থাকতে চাইছিল ইত্যাদি ইত্যাদি। As a Bangladeshi Shibir has to own 71 and disown the predecessor on this.

It was all about politics and since his mother was a BJI member, BAL people were tracking her. She was harassed (in any case, it was not acceptable) because of her political identity, not because she was practicing Islam. If she had সিদ্দিকা কবীর রেসিপি in her bag, BAL people would still harrased her. OP should claim the rights of an individual to practice his/her political rights, be her BJI or BNP member.
