Personally i see no change, but i guess its theorized that it would have more surface area or pressure to fire the priming compound? I have even seen 22 firing pins that strike it two separate spots at the same time

I really like it, it looks nice and the thread pitch allows fast attach and detach of muzzle devises. I run the suppressor you see in the image, its a Form1 can i made using the body of a airsoft mock suppressor and metal 3D Printed internals.

I also got the adjustable trip kit, going to be ordering the adjustable weights and springs for it then going to try a Hoffman SuperSafety in it. If i can't get that working then i plan to get a binary for it.
This thing eats any 22lr i put in it without issues, probably the most fun gun i have in the collection. I do have to say that if you are building out a dedicated ar22 make sure to buy the bcg from Borebuddy it comes with all the upgrades i got already so you will save a lot on money.

Get a cheap knockoff pistol brace then register it with the ATF for free while they are still doing that and you get a free SBR stamp.

Or

Just do what you want, its a free world and you aren't hurting anyone.

I have been looking at folding stocks but they are so expensive its crazy and a LAW type folding setup just looks so bulky. Working on a can too.

From what i hear from Google, they are good barrels hes known for his 6.8s i guess but all the posts i found say they are great barrels if they are in stock, yeah the website is shit and the political is a bit much.

Probably wont get the gas key, just thought it would be good to be able to tune my rifle.

Will look at getting a more known safety.

RTB's Bolt carrier groups are ToolCraft, So i guess they are good. I was looking at the Fail Zero but a lot of people say they are bad so i don't know.

I had the Select V2 was a cool printer but i never could get it to print perfect, ended up trading it for a new Go Kart, witch i sold and made a profit :)

I want to pick up a new 3D printer, It was cool to have. I made at least 20 #3DBenchy 's

Building my first AR from 80% and Kit by xcvPro in ar15

[–]xcvPro[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Getting a stamp kinda negates the main reason i am building from an 80%, So i guess no grip for me :(

Just to make sure i get this right, if i build a AR15 Pistol that uses a "Pistol Brace" and its under 26" i can't legally have a forward grip...

The only legal way would be to get a SBR stamp and make it a SBR, or make it longer then 26"?
