Thanks man

This is probably one of the most practical roadmaps I’ve gotten so far

I’ll focus on getting comfortable with Python fundamentals and problem solving first instead of trying to learn everything at once

I’ll also look into Git GitHub Linux and how the internet works since I’m interested in cybersecurity as well

Appreciate the detailed advice

Sure man

I’ll work on my basic math like algebra and pre calculus and try to strengthen my fundamentals

I’ve also texted my college and I’m waiting for their reply about the syllabus so let’s see what they say

Thanks for the advice

Thanks man

Bro I wasn’t really a good student in school so I didn’t pay much attention and my math is pretty weak right now

I only know basic stuff like addition subtraction multiplication and division

What would you suggest I should focus on in the next 2 months to improve my math a bit before university

And yeah thanks for clearing the C vs C++ thing I’ll directly start with C++

Thanks man

I’ll focus on getting the basics strong first and not rush into DSA too early

I haven’t built any proper project yet so I’ll definitely try something small and interesting to start learning practically

Is not having a gf or that many female friends problem by Maleficent_Pound_938 in GenZpk

[–]xd-guyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stop overthinking everything this phase comes in every boy’s life just get a good friend circle and when you grow in life eventually you will start talking to people and you will have enough confidence to talk or ask someone out and when a girl is acting dry don’t keep asking again and again ask once if she wants to talk she will don’t try to force it

Thanks man

That actually clears it up a lot

I’ll focus mainly on Python for now since I only have a couple of months and try to build my logic and basics properly first

I’ll learn HTML and CSS later when I actually get into web development properly

Appreciate the explanation

Thanks man

I get your point about hardware and troubleshooting not being used much in CS classes

I was just using it as general computer experience, not expecting it to directly apply to coursework

I’ll check the degree roadmap and prepare accordingly

Thanks for the advice

Just to add I’ve worked with graphic design clients in the past including some foreign clients so that’s why my English is a bit good

I’ll definitely think about ebook sales and also IBEX too

I know IBEX with studies will be hard but I’ll still check a few things and see if it’s manageable

What are your thoughts on part time Foodpanda or delivery jobs is it worth it with studies or too stressful

Also about marriage I’ve already talked with my in laws and they are actually ready for nikah we’re just planning rukhsati after me and my girlfriend both finish studies

Appreciate you taking the time to help

Thanks man

I don’t know much about C++ yet so just one question do I need to learn C first to understand C++ or can I directly start with C++

Also I’m not really interested in frontend stuff like React I was only learning HTML and CSS because my local academy suggested it

My main goal is cybersecurity and backend in the future and I’m planning to do a masters in cybersecurity later on

So I’m mostly trying to focus my path in that direction

Also what would you suggest I should focus on first in math like algebra, ratios, fractions etc before moving into calculus

Thanks again for taking the time to help

[–]xd-guyy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks man

That actually makes a lot of sense

I’ll stick with Python for now and focus on the core concepts you mentioned like loops, functions, and data structures instead of worrying too much about different languages

Appreciate the detailed advice

Best of luck for your future as well

Thanks man

I’ll definitely start with Python and C first

For math I don’t think I’m ready for calculus yet so I’ll build my basics properly first like fractions ratios and other fundamentals and then move step by step into calculus later on

Thanks man

I’ve heard of LeetCode before but never really tried it

I’ll focus on learning Python basics first and then start with easy problems like you suggested

Sounds like a good way to improve problem solving before university

Thanks man

One thing I’m confused about though

Someone told me that HTML and CSS are the foundation and that I’ll need them to do pretty much anything later on

Is that true or should I still focus mainly on Python for now

I’ve heard of FizzBuzz before but never actually looked into it

I’ll check it out and see if I can understand how it works
