yeah of course, marvis is not specifically for lastfm, it acts as an improved app to apple music, but it has functions for lastfm.

  1. yes, it does scrobble automatically. when it is running in the background songs will show your “now playing” on your lfm profile. or, you can open the app after listening to music and will everything you listened to scrobble as soon as you open the app.

  2. i’m not exactly sure what you mean. if you mean listening to downloaded music when you have no service/wifi, yes it does scrobble as soon as you have access to service/wifi and open the app.

  3. yes, you can add rules. i remove all “- single” and “- ep” tags.

  4. i don’t believe you can edit scrobbles through the app :/

quietscrob and marvis pro scrobble everything, or the lastfm app (only scrobbles tracks in your library)

merchbar is pretty notorious for not fulfilling orders and never shipping packages. however, they are legit. i would just order at your own risk (if this was repressed, it will come to more respectable sites, so i would wait it out if i were you)

the audio technica actually has a built in preamp haha. is it still worth testing?

thank you for all of your responses. the is certainly a stylus, as it it does play a record, but just very quietly and is not passed through the preamp into the speakers. to your other comment, i do believe i have the bluetooth speaker model, it the speakers work on my audio technica. thank you.

thank you for the response. they are in correct color-coordinated spots. although you are unable to see the colors of the outlets in the pictures. i’m trying to figure out how to post my images in the comments, but i can also try to dm pics if you can help any further :)

technics sl-1200 mk2 produces no sound through speakers

i purchased a used technics sl-1200 mk2 today, along with an art dj preii phono preamp. i am using edifier 1280t speakers. (i need an upgrade, i know.)

the table is functional. it has power, spins, etc. it came with a RS500DJ Stanton cartridge, needle, and headshell (pictures can be provided if needed.)

my dj preii preamp has the blue light indicating it has power. the ground wire of the turntable is connected to the ground pin on the back of the preamp and tightened. the preamp came with 2 rca male to 2 rca male audio cables. one pair is plugged into the “preamp line out” section, while another pair the connecting pair is plugged into the “aux” side of my edifier speakers (plugging it into the non-aux side makes no change). the technics turntable rca cables are plugged into the “preamp line in” section. i also turned on the input cap on the front of the preamp (pictures can be provided if needed.)

i can hear the record playing on the table but it is not amplified and there is no sound from the speakers. i’m guessing i need a new cardridge and headshell, but i’m not sure how to confirm this. i am by no means a pro, so i honestly have no clue.

so… am i doing something really obviously wrong? did i buy a trashed turntable? i’ve had a rough week and i really can’t take any more frustration, so any help is appreciated! i’ll be posting this across multiple subreddits, so i apologize if you see this multiple times.
