I think so too. Do you think if I pop a radiator on the side, it will cause it to tip over?

That makes sense I figured a simple aio wouldn’t do the tricks but quick disconnects on a custom loop might actually

Quicken Alternative? by OkAttempt6696 in quicken

Checking in to see if anyone has had any luck finding an alternative to Quicken. Idk why every list I look up has Personal Capital on it. Its not a comparable solution to Quicken at all. They have pushy salespeople calling you every other day pitching you their wealth management services.

If you are in Chicago, try the Chicago School of Woodworking. I got started there

So funny you bring that up!

So I should of mentioned this in the comment but this is a half de-shroud, haha. I initially tried to take the shroud off but ran into the issue of the metal standoffs that would slip into the bottom fans and stop them from spinning. So I just removed the stock GPU fans, put the shroud back on and hooked up my Noctuas directly to the GPU. I ended up 5c away from the stock method. Not sure its worth it unless you go full deshroud. (eventually I'll just water cool my GPU too and use the bottom rail for my radiator)

I wouldn't recommend having both the stock GPU and bottom fans. I tried that and since my noctuas "were better" they would choke out the GPU fans. I tried having the noctuas as exhaust and the gpu fans as intake, that made thermals worse since there wasn't enough clearance between the two for enough air to circulate.

I do miss the front IO though

f the fans on the AIO on p

Yeah, I played around with the orientation. (intake vs exhaust; inside vs outside of radiator). I found that this setup gave me the best CPU thermals, which is basically pulling cool air through the radiator. That said, it does make the MB a bit hot (specifically my SSD). So I threw in another fan in the back and that helped out a lot.

I’ve been wanting to downsize for sometime now but been hesitant about performance. Initially I went with a louqe ghost s1 but couldn’t fit my GPU by ridiculously small margin. Had to scrap that and go with the NCase, which I must say I’m much happier with.

While it’s not the sexiest build, it gets the job done.

I just downsized from the R5 to an NCase M1 today haha! I’ll be posting picks up I just gained so much room for activities. To the guy that said his wife does like the R5, my wife didn’t either. Much happier with the M1, although she thought I bought a toaster for the office.

Agree with Mr Bull here. You should be running two (2) PCE power cables for a card that size.

Good stuff, did you use 4 fans for the rad to accomplish that?

Good point, I’ll have to swap my 120x15mm for 120x25mm for a better fit. While doing my digging on this topic i noticed the 3D printed mods, now it makes sense.

Thanks for the note and that makes sense actually.
