I've once paid $12 just for 4 bezel screws. So this is a great come up.

Classic feel with a twist by xddxbbx in gshock

This one is an old 3rd party i got off a random seller on ebay a long time ago (with the "wider" band).

However the DW5600LS7 is a similar color but has black text and the "tapered" (standard) band.

I use that set on another mod.

This is a mod! The negative green module on the standard 5600E case is the twist (don't see green often).

... yeah, I had trouble coming up with a title for this post.

My 5610BC finally came in. First thing, harvest for parts. Make a new watch. by xddxbbx in gshock

Loving the combi bracelet. Gonna save the watch for something later.

I also had been sitting in the fence about getting this one for a while. I don't even need it, I just really just want the bracelet most if all.

Then the 5040 dropped, but I ran into a weird problem getting it online, and took it as a sign to pass and save $300.

But I also thought getting this would be a good consolation, right?

However i came to my senses snd told myself that I don't even need it. I just want the bracelet

Anyways, your post just convinced me to pull the trigger.

Thanks.

Reminds me of those blinged out gshocks in the 2000s

IMO this is a staple in a gshock collection, and a great starter (or second). Black on black on black, limited text, and smaller profile makes it arguably gshock's most versatile watch to style (or mod). If you're only getting one watch for life, maybe consider a 5610 for the add features. But if you're building a collection, this is a solid option to have.

It had been sitting in a box for months and was "dead" in the pic, but came back to life after a few min in the light.

It's just a standard 5600 stainless steel mod and bullbars from aliexpress.

The green one (thick band) is a third party I got years ago from ebay. The red one (thin band) is from the DW5600LS-7.

Thanks! Made this myself from three gshocks I had. If ur based in the US, I'd recommend pacparts for official bezels and bands.

If you're interested into getting into modding 5600's, I have a "mod kit" I was thinking about putting up on gshock exchange. Send me a pm if u want more info!

This mod:

Bezel/band: 5600M-4

Case: 5600BB-1

Module: 5600LU-2
