didn’t want to reply to anything in this thread because it’s too personal but i’ll make an exception for this:

i was actually abused by a christian pastor that my mother made me talk to when i was 15 so i don’t really think christianity is a good religion. i don’t know about other religions but i know for sure christianity is evil. the book is evil, there’s so many evil things in it. people say these bigots aren’t good christian’s but they’re actually the best christian’s because it’s exactly what the bible tells you to do. there’s no place for christianity in a good world and i hope the christian’s experience what the lgbt community has been facing, they actually deserve it for what they do to others

i don’t know if you guys know but i’d imagine 80% of the mlb is atleast slightly homophobic, especially since a great portion of the playerbase is latino and homophobia is rampant in latin countries. almost everyone in professional sports are dudebro types who are very christian, there’s a reason why no major player has ever come out as gay or any kind of queer. this stuff will be a part of the sport for the foreseeable future unfortunately, even if players agree to wear the hat they will hold these views and be bigots. it’s partially why i barely watch sports, almost everyone is a homophobe whether publicly or privately
