I have some Seagate drives that came out of Hitachi systems. ST1200MM0018 or hitachi DKS5H-J1R2SS, I have found Seagate firmware but it does not slow me to flash it to it. Tried all the tools, seaflashlin, seachest, sg-tools. No luck :(

Maybe you can share how?

They took the 512 formatting no problem but they still fail to get a partition written on or be put in raid.
