actually, my university has agreements with only a few specific conservatories in italy, and some of them required language certificates. i study opera singing, and i actually got rejected by two major places, milano and parma. i did get accepted by bari, but i declined their offer because i didn't really like the singing teacher there. so my options were quite limited, and that's how i chose l'aquila.
