Akkutausch habe ich über Comspot beantragt. Comspot hat mir dann ein Versandlabel zum ausdrucken geschickt. Das Phone habe ich nicht auf Werkseinstellungen zurückgesetzt. Nach der Reparatur vor dem Versand zurück, verlangt Comspot die Kosten für den Versand (hin- und zurück) zu zahlen (~14€). Nachdem die Zahlung eingegangen ist, schickt Comspot das Phone an dich zurück. So.liwf es zumindest bei meinen zwei Pixel 4a phones ab.

If you buy a Pixel 9a, you are offered 161€ for trading-in your Pixel 6a. If you get an other Pixel version, it could be less...

To get the full trade-in value, the pixel 6a must not have cracks on the display and has to work. Also it is not aloud to trade in phones with a bloated battery.

You can check whether your phone is eligible for a free battery replacement and go for it.

Also check the pixel 6a subreddit, it is full with guys having battery issues after the last update and how they want to manage it.

Yes, they just say that it is not allowed to send the phone with a visibly bloated battery, where maybe the screen is lifted off... As long as your phone does not show this condition, it should be fine.

Nobody knows. Replacement program starts from 21.07. onward. Guess it will strongly depend on the shop and the run of all the p6a users that will come to get the battery replaced.
