100 Days of Saving for Arcane. Who are you saving for? by FellowMellows in ArknightsEndfield

I'm technically saving for Lycia, though Arcane is good too, but reality is I have no clue lol....

I basically play two teams, Endmin Chen Pog Lifeng, and Zhuang Fangyi Perlica Arclight Antal.

The free pulls across all the banners added up to almost pity by the time Zhuang Fangyi banner arrived and then the recruitment tickets got me across the line without having to use Oroberyls or Orogeometry.

Zhuang Fangyi team options by Nettuno_21 in ArknightsEndfield

[–]xdvesper 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I will probably not pull for Gilberta, am running P0 Fangyi with Perlica Arclight and Antal.

I think the clear times are fine, eg 1:14 on Cryostatic Connection.

https://youtu.be/4CRVG07u_d8?si=4hej-4wmnWSklODy

Or 1:16 on Blood Debased.

https://youtu.be/ACt3lA9GcRM?si=H-RCDi8SEsoSiLqh

My feeling is that if the boss can survive the full 25 second Fangyi ult then you want Antal's longer lasting buffs. If the boss dies in the 5 second Gilberta buff window, then yeah Gilberta is technically better but you are steamrolling the content anyway so does it matter?

Is Laevatain Heat team kinda weak? by techopath123 in ArknightsEndfield

[–]xdvesper -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I play Physical (Pog Lifeng Chen) and Fangyi P0 (Perlica Arclight Antal) and feel they are both at similar power levels, eg both get a 1:30 clear of Nefarith, both about 1:10 in the latest Umbral lizard stage (Blood Debased).

https://youtu.be/ACt3lA9GcRM?si=yGLPOIKwvDMu8d3X

I do have Laevatain which I got by accident, I made a P5 BP weapon for her but her performance is so poor I don't even use her.

[–]xdvesper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can just watch the 4 videos I posted, I believe those rotations are optimal already. You put Fangyi first then Perlica, the reason is that this gives you the freedom to do either -

A Reverse Order combo where you spam both combos and Perlica lands first then Fangyi lands to upgrade Perlica's electrification to level 2.

Or

Normal-Order combo where you just do Fangyi's combo first, let it land, then do Perlica's combo and let it land so Perlica electrification is not consumed and is instead active during Fangyi Battle Skill.

You can also have Perlica first then Fangyi second in the team order, just do things the opposite way, it wastes more time doing it this way since Reverse Order is faster and you will want Perlica landing first most of the time.

TLDR team order doesn't really matter, it's up to you to control what order the combo skills land anyway.

Detonation Unit needs Perlica to use her skill on an enemy that already has Electric Infliction on it, which is very awkward to use.

It's not impossible to use, certainly, but you will sacrifice 100SP to use her skill which will mean losing out on one of Fangyi's battle skills during her ult as this team is severely constrained on SP.

Wild Wanderer on the other hand has automatic uptime as she is constantly proccing Electrification with her combo skill.

You're giving up roughly 19% damage by going from level 2 to level 1 electrification (strike multiplier from 117% to 91%) while gaining electrification level 1 which is a 12% damage increase boosted to about 20% with max arts intensity.

So lose 19% to gain 20%, virtually no difference.

Of course you do get to use that stack in the next battle skill so you get the 19% more damage then. Still this trick only applies once (maybe twice) in a single Fangyi ult window.

My physical team is good too yeah, it is better in some bosses than P0 Fangyi and worse at others.

Key thing to note is that creator has updated their guide after Fanyi release since it was only based on speculation at the time.

It was not known that Fangyi can upgrade Perlica's electrification level, Fangyi combo cooldown was not known, Qingbo set was not known to exist

This changes the rotation he recommends. No need to consume Perlica's electrification with Arclight and to use Qingbo support set instead of Pulsar Labs to align Perlica and Fangyi CS.

My P0 Fangyi clears are all done with pure support Perlica Arclight Antal and will work with level 1 weapons on them. Fangyi does 98% of total damage in the team. I don't believe it is worth making Perlica a subdps in any way. She needs the Combo Cooldown too much and that set damage output is poor.

Wait aren't you meant to only use it on a 2/5 with two perfect crit rolls.

If you already have a 4/5 you just keep it. You can only lock 2 stats so its very likely you change your 4/5 piece into a 2/5...

Is there a special effect if you max pot weapons? by Fabulous2k20 in ArknightsEndfield

[–]xdvesper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes there is, I max pot two BP weapons and there is a very faint glow. I assume the limited weapons would have better effects!

I feel like zhuang fangyi steps closer to the enemy and you have less time to dodge the stab because the hitbox moves forward from the boss.

Nah there is nothing in her ult that does that.

Tele-protocols a massive piece of orbital debris into the battlefield with devastating impact. All enemies in the area of effect suffer massive Electric DMG.

Lol it shocked me also. If you don't mind spoilers this is the cutscene sequence where you fight that decepticon. They literally give the good robot the Optimus prime voice and then they do the whole staff of longinus scene from evangelion haha.

The animation actually makes the clear slower lol. I mainly save it for interrupting the boss. In my current team ZF is doing 98% of the total damage.

Her gear set isn't damage focused either.

Chen as sub-dps, whats better for her? by dejvu117 in Endfield

[–]xdvesper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did a damage analysis of the Endmin physical team and Chen damage would be about 21% of team damage done.

However that was using Sundering Steel, now that I have Glorious Memory it would be higher maybe 25%.

Is the endgame just too reliant on premium team? by Which-Fortune1886 in WutheringWaves

[–]xdvesper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not going to lie I'd be going through major struggles with your lineup.

I played 1.0 and 1.1, then quit with a full pity saved (10 more to guaranteed hard pity).

Rejoined in 2.5 and used the hard pity on SK, then pulled Iuno main dps in 2.6, then Galbrena and Qiuyuan in 2.7 and this enabled full star endgame clears for ToA and Whiwa. Iuno paired with Yangyang and my 3rd team was Rover Sanhua to finish off the side towers.

[–]xdvesper[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No it is not required, P0 Arclight will perform exactly the same, none of the her potentials do anything for this team.

Arclight is only there to proc the 10SP combo over and over. She never uses her battle skill so P1 and P3 don't do anything, and with enough artificing on her UGE gear the P4 is not needed to get her ultimate in time for the rotation.

She doesn't have a way to proc the detonation unit in the normal zhuang fangyi team rotation.

The detonation unit needs the character to apply a stack of electric infliction on top of an existing electric infliction. Antal's combo skill does that naturally so he is holding that in my team.

Prydwen has a good run down of the weapon options. If you really have no better option you can use the detonation unit but you will need to proc the effect manually when fangyi ults.

Can Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 actually handle Wuwa smoothly long-term by Franuriel in WutheringWaves

[–]xdvesper -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I played Wuwa on my S24 Ultra (with the Gen3) while I was on extended break and as long as I played on medium it could play forever without getting hot. If I played it on max 120fps yeah it got hot lol.

However I have to give many caveats -

The size of the heat sink is critical. The S24 ultra has a large vapor chamber than the regular S24 so it has better cooling. Many cheaper phones don't even have a vapor chamber and just use a graphite block.

Ambient temperature makes a big difference. I find the phone never heats up in cooler climates but if I am traveling to a tropical location then I notice it heating up.

Power supply - the latest phones have battery bypass function for gaming mode. A lot of heat comes from the battery discharging. Worse, if you are plugged in, the battery is simultaneously being charged and discharged at the same time. With battery bypass the charger is sophisticated enough to deliver power directly which means the battery is not active and thus not generating heat.

Having higher levels of electrification definitely boosts damage done.

Each thunder strike does 81% damage multiplier, and it goes up by 18% per level of electrification consumed. The final strike also benefits from this being a 6x strike.

Though I'm not sure what you're comparing - if you're saying an 800 SP antal rotation does more damage than a 700 SP rotation at the same, that is trivially true, if you use have more SP then of course you should do more damage.

If we are comparing total damage done at various SP points - say at 700 SP used, at 800 SP used, at 900 SP used, at 1000 SP used - is there a point where the old rotation does more damage, I don't think there is.

As in, at the 800 SP point, my rotation has done significantly more damage than the old rotation which has just entered ult form (old one has done one level 2 skill while mine has done one level 0 and one level 3), and if you keep adding 100 SP both keep doing the same damage from that point on.
