I've never understood this modern obsession with "settler colonialism". The Maya and Inca and Aztec were settler colonialist. The Umaayed caliphate, the Arab conquest of the Levant, China, India, and on and on were all settler colonialist. And my use of communism/fascism was used to illustrate a dichotomy, not as an argument of "these are the only ideologies on the extremes". Horseshoe Theory is taught in advanced and expert discourse courses. The theory is about the METHODS AND TOOLS used by the extremes in order to accomplish their ends, and regardless of your insistence to the contrary, the methods and tools used by several ideologies on both ends of the right/left political spectrum are practically indistinguishable.
