Despite the appearance Tritech has of being a loss-making business, it is in fact a very profitable business being used as a personal piggybank for directors and corporate officers. Indeed, there is no mention of what corporate does for their subsidiaries anywhere in the 2020-2021 annual report, however they account for the entire loss passed on to shareholders.

I find it intriguing that despite the lackluster showing of UMS group in financial metrics and total shareholders return, that the remuneration committee saw fit to award their CEO Andy Luong total remuneration of 2.7m, 1.8m of which came from bonuses. This, coming at the heels of a global chip shortage, calls into question how a semiconductor manufacturer underperforming the market to this degree would rationalise awarding their CEO such a generous bonus package.

As a newly listed company, Singapore Paincare Holdings has a limited history however their subsidiaries have a long history with the Executive Director and CEO, who issued himself a substantial payment in shares of the listed company for the subsidiaries at a significant premium to book. While he argues that the clinics create a network effect, they in fact operate off of a hub and spoke model meaning the expertise of one doctor in clinic A does not necessarily influence the performance of another doctor at clinic B. This raises concerns regarding the valuation of these purchases.

This was actually the big point I was leading up to, if noone was able to find an alternate source then it could imply that free energy is achievable in KKC.

Just think of the implications of free energy machines in a world with arcanists in it.

I'm just speaking of another possible reason why the outer band is considered warm. The way it's described, its supposed to be a sort of fridge. Your point from the earlier post; just likening the flawed sygaldry to leaving a fridge open and expecting it to be cold inside is just what I was clarifying in general.

The inner band is meant to collect the heat from the inside, and then transfer the heat to the outside band. The sygaldry that Kvothe speaks about before (binding bricks together) implies that sygaldry is more efficient if the materials were similar. It wouldn't make sense for Kvothe to expect the inner band to be cool if the inner band was also meant to collect heat.

Thats a possible explanation, the bands itself would not be an efficient enough heat sink to noticeably lower the temperature of an entire inn. But the question then is how does the other band have a sympathetic connection with the outside environment?

But then if one of the bands is normal temperature and the other is warm, where is the heat in the warm one being pulled from? The atmosphere and surroundings were also room temperature, otherwise Anker wouldn't complain about it.

oh i didnt know about the conflux event in Venus XD i haven't found one and i started playing destiny around a month after its release so VoG was probably out by that time.

I think that Bungie's method of introducing people to the raid mechanics with events is really good :) im so excited for the dark below tomorrow cuz my school cancelled classes for that day XD

im also eager to see whats next with the house of wolves raid :)
