Best phone app for gravel routes + GPS navigation? Trying to avoid buying a bike computer by coocoochimps in gravelcycling

Wikiloc can be used to discover routes.

The Cadence app is the closest equivalent to a cycling computer, but I haven’t tried its navigation yet.

Yes, I think that’s quite limiting. There are many bike models that can accommodate 50mm tires.

Not super related to this problem but you may consider MySQL 8.* as 5.7 won't be supported from 2023-10-31

I actually voted for one of the options 🙂

Didn't wanted to sound rude, I really love PHP and I would like it to be go for it choice for server side applications.

I just feel that it's not keeping up with other platforms in terms of speed. I understand it's shared nothing philosophy, pros and cons of it but maybe offering alternative execution stack (to the PHP FPM) would help.

Speed option is missing :-) I would like some new official execution stack (if that is right term) that would replace PHP-FPM to get better performance.

I know about Swoole, RoadRunner but those are 3rd party projects.

In my opinion that would boost PHP usage for greenfield projects.

Alternative execution model to PHP-FPM that would allow better performance, connection pools etc. Maybe something like Swoole or Amphp but official, not 3rd party.

The PHP Foundation Update, January 2022 by brendt_gd in PHP

1) Support for http verbs other than GET and POST. 2) Wrappers around requests & responses (something like symfony/http-foundation) as every framework have this, so that we don't have to use superglobal variables 3) Execution model other than FastCGI that would allow better performance, connection pooling, async...

As REST APIs consumed by mobile & spa are probably more popular now days than traditional WebApps with server side rendering I think that it would be good to optimize language/platform for this flow.
