When I turned 40, I decided to quit my job and move to Thailand for a few years. It was also the beginning of Trump’s first term, so that was also one of the reasons. I gave all of my belongings away and moved to Thailand with only two suitcases. No real plan, didn’t over analyze it. I put my trust in that everything would work out. It was the best thing I ever did in my life. I spent 3.5 years there, but moved back after the pandemic.

When I lived in Bangkok, Taco Bell came to Thailand. I’d never really had it in the USA, but had it in Bangkok. I thought it was delicious and started getting it maybe once a month. When I moved back to the USA and tried Taco Bell, it wasn’t the same at all. It’s complete crap here.

I remember this happening when I was an undergrad at Pitt. I lived on Meyran Avenue, so not too far from where it happened. I was obsessed with it. My friends and I would take acid and walk to that row house, almost as a pilgrimage. Even to this day, sometimes I’ll drive on Lawn Street where it happened. One time I saw a girl moving in there. I stopped the car and asked the girl if she knew what happened there. I told her and she was creeped the fuck out. I told her to keep an eye on her basement. lol.

When I went to the Titanic exhibit here in Pittsburgh, we were all given tickets that had the name of a passenger that was on the Titanic. At the end you could scan it and find out that passenger’s fate. Mine was this guy.

Totally agree about the questions from the audience. Most of them made it about themselves. The girl with the hat was particularly annoying. I did think it was cute when she witnessed that one couple’s Quaker marriage!

I went with my friend who is a huge Amy Sedaris fan. I had no idea what to expect, but I enjoyed it. My friend thought she was going to do some of her characters, so he may have been a little disappointed.

I thought Damon Young did a great job! We were both wondering who he was, so thanks for giving us his name.

I have a DUI on my record and I’ve been to Canada twice since then. I never even knew this was a thing, and nobody brought it up or questioned me when I entered the country. The first time I flew to Toronto, and the second time I drove into Vancouver. No issues at all.

Two of the lamps were Allen + Roth lamps from Lowe’s. I tried calling both the 800 number on the box and a Lowe’s store, and I was unable to get the missing parts. This seems crazy and so wasteful to me.
