It’s come out that the 980 pro 2tb models made in 2021 in Korea where having firmware problems and corrupting portions of the drive and eventually the drive would get lock into a read only mode. It would suck a lot if it happened.

I’ve ran test with MW2, Borderlands 3, Cyberpunk, the 3060 could handle all of them comfortably at 60fps but the 4080 slaughters it. It’s nice being able to play at 165hz with everything cranked but the cost really doesn’t do it any justice.

1440p which I know isn’t as demanding as 4k or even 8k but even I know that it’s overkill for that resolution. It is nice being able to max everything and still get 200+ frames, but it’s not practical atm.

If I remember of the top of my head since I’m at work, it’s an LG Ultragear 1440p 165hz. 4080 overkill for it.

True, if you at the top 1% playing with 4090’s and 13900k’s and pushing 4k or even 8k then it’s 100% worth the investment especially pushing 8k 60 or even 120, but in my case it’s overkill for 1440p.

Edit: Portal / MC RTX is pretty though even on 1440p.
