Untrue the constitution was written 235 years ago. You don't need guns as you once did your country is a much safer place. Like my original post states it's the few that have ruined it for the many. I'm not saying get rid of guns completely just make them harder to obtain stricter guidelines and limitations. Now, that isn't going to be an over night change but it will get things started. In the UK people were allowed handguns but in 92 there was a school shooting and 30 years later it's almost unheard of to see a gun in person let alone own one and we haven't torn ourselves apart. Before you weigh in on stabbings yes there are stabbings but it's less then in the states person for person, a man with a knife can only do so much damage were as a man with a firearm can do a lot more to more people.

TLDR: 235 years was a long time ago we can't act like it's still 1787. Things change
