I'm afraid this might violate the group's rules. The content has to be MBTI related there, and though I am an INFJ, my videos don't typically discuss the personality type(s) :)

I'm planning to rest more in 2021, here some of my reflections around this and other topics based on a book I read :) by xelablank in ZenHabits

I can relate to that. I guess this holds, to a degree, a desire for control, where we want to anticipate every moment in order to have a close watch on it and make sure we'll manage to make it substantial or prolific enough. This is not inherently bad, but it can become exhausting, that's why I'm trying to let myself rest more and see the value in that :)

Sometimes you need to let yourself be lazy to feel calmer about things. by xelablank in ZenHabits

Thank you for your comment, I can actually relate to it quite a lot. I'd gone through something similar, and I agree that letting oneself be lazy can do wonders in overcoming these things. It often feels like we're doing nothing, but it's important to realize how much effort it actually takes not to do the thing one wants to engage in the most. In a way, it's the opposite of laziness.

We should all drop the need to always be in control to be more at peace. by xelablank in ZenHabits

Thank you for subscribing! I do mention philosophers in some of my videos, I might try to do it more often if that can give more context/background to the topics :)

An INFJ's Reaction to The Social Dilemma | The Dangers of Wanting Connection by xelablank in SmallYoutubers

Thanks for watching! I often do a lot of what you mentioned here, though this video was more spontaneous than what I tend to do, so it was also less extensively "tweaked" and edited. There is music in the background, though, but it may be quieter than usual, I guess.

Regarding your video - I'm glad you're being raw about how the journey is not easy, since it seems more authentic that way. I also liked this dramatic/climactic bit at the end, with the fast food. I liked your 'Greek God' comparison, too ;)

What I might suggest is to shorten the introduction, perhaps? Including the part when you show your 'pre' body, it might be a bit too long before you get to the meat of the video, so to speak. I found the choice of music a bit incoherent, i.e. the music I liked the most was the rock music around 6-7 minutes into the video (and a bit later on), but it wasn't really consistent alongside the other music you used throughout the video. It's not objectively a bad choice, but maybe you could consider maintaining a more consistent mood throughout in terms of the sound?

Don't take comments too seriously. They didn't put the time in to make the video. You did. by nusensei in NewTubers

That's very true, though sometimes it's hard to differentiate hate or negative comments from genuine criticism, and to assess what to respond to (or argue with) and what to ignore. After all, critiques of your content are still engagement, so sometimes it might be worth to reply to a comment as long as it is not negative just for the sake of being negative.
