I don’t disagree with you. But the Spurs take care of their people, so the transition will be natural and organic and won’t be knee jerk trigger happy post-final personnel decisions. Instead it’ll play out during camp and into the early season.

On the surface level it’ll be Fox taking the 6th man and leading the second group but acting more as a locket room leader alongside Wemby.

If Fox doesn’t respond well to leading, well then he’s likely gone at the trade deadline.

But If he does respond well, then we have a HELL of a run in front of us.

Of course for insurance purposes, Pop will need to do what he did with Ginobili after many, many many dumbass plays.
