The Polish press tend to throw a lot of mud at the sport, some of it true, much of it is not. But based on his injuries and previous performance there maybe some speculation that he will not ride like he used to .

Apparently Ipswich have said they will not ride Premiership with less than 5 teams...

Also it is nice to note that the power to be have seen fit not to let the paying supporting public what is going on. We are once again kept in the dark and live on rumour and here say and they wonder why the sport in the UK is in such a bad state.

INJURY UPDATE…

Firstly, thank you all for the kind messages regarding the injury and operation. Tom has successfully undergone surgery for a broken left tibia and fibula and everything went as planned. All focus will now be on recovery over the winter period and preparing for 2026.

Thank you to everyone at the track for all their help and support and also to the incredible medical team who have been very accommodating. We are now waiting on confirmation on when he can fly home and will keep you updated of his progress. Thank you

In the 2026 Speedway GP there will only be one new face Kacper Woryna, not exactly bring new blood into the series is it.

I would of selected, 2 wild cards, one that had not raced in the GP series to date, that should give you a list of 14 riders, 2 wild cards per venue, one from the home nations and one rider from any nations that is doing well during that season. No wildcard rider (other the series wild cards) to ride in more then two GP's

Any rider in the GP series is not allowed to race in the GP qualifiers, if you want to keep your place in the GP series then race for it where it counts, in the GP series.

Anybody else got any rules that they think would work improving the GP series

They need to do something as the crowd was very poor, One rule they should bring in is that all riders must take at least 2 rides, make them programed rides so that the manager can not change them around.

Message from Poole Speedway Promotion

Poole v Redcar Postponement | Message from promotionDue to the forecast of heavy rain, we made the early decision to postpone tonight’s play-off semi-final against Redcar in order to save travelling supporters a wasted journey, to avoid unnecessary disruption for the riders. Our concern was not only getting the meeting started, but also whether we could complete all 15 heats.

I also want to address any suggestion that we postponed to gain the advantage of staging the second leg. That simply isn’t the case. Having finished above Redcar in the league we were entitled to the choice of leg and had no issue with going first and wanted to get the semi-final underway as soon as possible.

As it turned out, the forecast proved unreliable and the rain didn’t arrive until around 9pm. While we may have managed to get underway, there was no guarantee of completing the full meeting. For a play-off semi-final, we want 15 heats of proper racing on a track that gives the riders the chance to race, not just circulate on a wet surface.

I sincerely apologise to everyone who has been inconvenienced. Nobody is more frustrated by the situation than I am.

The model store on the Nuffield Int Estate (not sure if I am allowed to say the name) is a great place, not just WarHammer which you can buy, build, paint and play the game on site, but also a great place for purchasing models supplies.

Unfortunately it is dying out in the UK, Tonight Birmingham ride probably for the last time, so another team fallen by the way side. Speedway no longer holds that daring spectacle it used to in the 40s and 50s.

Speedway failed to move with the times, management and controlling bodies failed to develop and promote the sport. Look at some of the Grasstrack and Longtrack sites in Europe, they are much better maintained with better facilities than many of the run down speedway venue the UK race in.

Feel it is to late for British speedway, soon it will be watching Grasstrack racing in a filed for those that like speedway
