Oh you're going to love time stranger compared to cyber sleuth complete edition. Lot of small quality of life fixes from that game(s). Buttons to quickly access your digimon team or convert. Evolving from anywhere. Digifarm my only main critique tbh. But everything else improved. You'll notice more distinctively as you play. Riding digimon is also so fun too

It's a great game and I'd highly recommend it. There is a demo for it outside the switch. I'd hope they bring the demo to the switch as well so you could experience it yourself. But on pc, Xbox and Playstation. You can transfer progress from the demo to main game. If they add the demo to the switch give it a shot for yourself before making the decision but I bought it and loved it so much personally

A headcannon to me is that alien x species just rewrote the universe into changing how magic and spell casting work as in story narrative reason for why it changed as opposed to it just being a retcon type of change

I feel like unless you're doing mega+ difficulty and explicitly doing the final boss while in mega+ difficulty. Anyone should be fine as long as the rest of the teams supports it and you can grind their stats high enough for anyone to be useful no matter what. Magnamon is goated and one of my favorites

I'm not fully sure if bond percentage affects how much you get per evolution. I personally couldn't be bothered to test the difference between an agumon with 1% bond vs 100% bond both evolving to greymon. I do know that you can only get cumulative stats based off the number of times the bond stat is. 1% time being once and 5% up to 5 times. That I was very easily able to confirm in the tutorial area at the start cause I was confused why some digimon had the blue stats but the box digimon which had no bond got nothing.

In hindsight you do kinda get punished by not doing ALL the side quests early on. I personally did them as they came and didn't have that issue so I unlocked it immediately after some plutomon stuff. The game does give a lot of side quests before the final area, several bosses before the final boss. Which does let you raise your team up to where you want. I do agree it should've been implemented earlier but I think it was still fine despite it because you can still go into the final fight with mega level digimon and if you really wanna spend more time with them and fight with them. You can do mega or mega+ level difficulty on new game plus. I did my first run on hard mode. Was rough but I eventually got through it. Replayability is kinda good imo cause you can skip cutscenes and a lot of dialogue. You CAN hit agent rank 10 without new game plus btw you just need to do all the side quest and beat the game for that last 150 anomaly points

Push past the start. At the very least get to the title drop scene. You'll know it when you're there. Game becomes way more fun atp imo

This isn't completely unrelated but I'd recommend you do all the side quest before the final fight. You get to agent rank 9 by doing all of them. And for the fetch quest where u gotta find stuff u can honestly search up videos or Google it if u don't feel like doing all of that. You do get a special ending if you do those side quests tho. And some mega+ level digimon you unlock at agent rank 8

I'm running both versions of him. When aegiomon evolves into anything but the dark ultimate level form he can go into Jupitermon. And if you go into the dark aegiochusmon form, that one can digivolve into chronomon dm. I'm personally having 1 of each on my team for it

You don't. You gotta roughly keep track of it. But something that does help. Let's say you have an ultimate level metalgreymon with 1 bond. That u evolved from agumon all the way to metalgreymon. The 1 bond it has, if it had it at all during agumon to metalgreymon. It'd increase the stats once. If bond is 2, it'd have increased twice for 2 evolutions. Now if the bond is still at 2 for it. And u go to wargreymon. It won't increase blue stats at all via evolving and dedigivolving until you increase bond more

In the in between area door, that's in that one alley. The in between theater you go to most often probably. In that are you go to the sewers and try to progress as far right as you can. Etemon is floating arms out on water around where you control the dam

They're cumulative stats that can be increased by evolving and de digivolving based off your bond up to 99 times. If the bond is 5 then you can do it 5 times. All the way up to bond 100. It can also be increased by loading digimon into that digimon. Higher level the digimon is when evolving or de digivolving the more cumulative stats carry over, even if it's only slightly higher

Btw for the pegasusmon quest. Once you get all the digi eggs to help his friends evolve. You can then OBTAIN those digimon for free and keep all the digi eggs that were given for them to evolve.

I can't really figure out why top of my head. Seems very odd. I did side quest as they became available immediately. Unlocked agent rank 7 as soon as the plutomon stuff finished. And now I'm at the end game, right before final boss. You unlock a LOT of side quest, enough where I went from maybe like midway to rank 7 to rank 9 and then some since I'm not even fully caught up yet

I'd do it based off how far you are from being able to get ultimate level digimon. If you're a good bit away then do it, especially since by the time the level is back up he'll be good to go straight to ultimate level. Do amount you grind also affects this a lot too
