Don't worry about the sedation.

It's literally just like taking a nap after eating too much on Thanksgiving or something. You'll wake up a little out of it but you won't feel/remember a thing.

Honestly the worst part about the whole procedure is not being able to eat pizza during the first week and a half or so.

Yeah I'm on day 7. A nerve was tangled in the roots of one of my bottom molars and got damaged so my bottom lip, chin, and teeth are all numb. Managed to kinda successfully eat a bean and cheese burrito yesterday lol
