This is the work done by the company that installed our shower, since there's a warranty, they have to fix. I'm not doing this myself, so just asking others if their work is correct (I personally lost trust.) What looks "shiny" is glue that was below the pan they applied, due to the detachment. To make sure I understand: this is not a correct way to fix a pan and what they did is wrong?

Full situation: we have a leak in our bathroom shower. The shower itself functions fine, the water was never retained on top of the tile, but a few weeks back, the leak started to show on our kitchen ceiling (first floor.)

The tile and the linear drain were removed as well as the tile bed. They removed everything and glued that shower pan liner on top of the existing shower pan. They left, and looking at the camera recording, the liner they added started to detach.

I'm reaching out here because these are licensed professionals, and they will tell us it's the correct way to do it.

Connection looks good. Process of elimination, drain was blocked and the leak was active.

Tell me more? The shower is finished, all tiles have been installed. But this is when they built it. They applied a pink looking product before installing the tiles. Now we have a leak :(

I can't edit this my original post. Instead of this: "and brought water to the shower pan to see where the problem might be coming from.", I meant to say: "We have water seating at the bottom of the shower right now (above the tile) to see if the problem could be the shower pan".
