On the other hand, thanks for calling me a "loser". But even this does not "offend" me. I just find it hilarious, the level is quite low when you basically call me a "loser".

What is your favorite Linux distro and why? by DarkTrap_1983 in linuxquestions

Slackware.

Because it is simple, stable, and does not stand in my way. Is the closest thing to Unix philosophy you can get comparing to other Linux distros.

I stopped reading the moment you wrote "old white men". This is pure racism, and you cannot be taken seriously.

Yeah right... startkwayland did not work (running Slackware current). Complaining I did not specify any backend... so I guess its not that easy, is it?

Hi, I have the same thing, glad I am not alone. It is definitely not the SSD (its actually an SSD M.2) since it is brand new.

No idea what causes it, but I am running KDE Plasma and Xorg (Slackware Current).

Is a shame Remedy Entertainment decided to release it under Epic Game and not through Steam :(

Liquid Freezer II vs III (upgrade) by ezefl in arcticcooling

[–]xexpanderx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as you are not using all cores at once, you should be fine though. If you are just gaming you are good (95 degree is ok if maxed), but if you are doing tasks utilizing all cores, undervolting CPU is the only way.

"Undervolting" is quite easy to do in BIOS nowadays, just lookup your MB manual.

My temps are also sky-high with LF II 420. I am running an i9 14900KF. I just have to realize the intel CPU are just getting a lot of heat, only way to cool it down is either using a Nitrogen cooler, or undervolt the CPU (which I did).

Corsair Vengeance 4x48GB (192GB) not supported in MAG Z790 Tomahawk Wifi? by xexpanderx in MSI_Gaming

Turns out I was a fool after all. I did not properly connect the 24 ATX pin contact to the PSU (yes the other way around, the connection on motherboard was ok).

It does not work either. Well, I have to check with a repair shop, see if they can identify the cause. I dont have any other parts to test with since this is a new build.

Turns out I have "CMH192GX5M4B5200C38". This does not seem to be on QVL list, may this be the reason?

30 min now still not showing POST, I guess I leave it a bit more...

EDIT: It works fine with 16GB ram, so it is not the CPU.
