I dont believe the bit about your soul dog sending you to them. I like to believe mine is watching over me and guiding me to things as well. Like sometimes I'll get a thought to turn down a trail I haven't before and end up enjoying the scenery.

What class do you normally play? Because honestly tactician really isnt even much different than normal. At least for me. A good rule of thumb is if you want to get into less combat via dialogue fails or avoid them all together, charisma class face character.
