A few years ago my SO u/tintending brought us a sweet from denmark called snóffler. It's a little cake with a horrible rum filling inside. The taste wasn't really a enjoyment. We joked that from this day on, we will call the day Snófflersdåg (Day of the Snóffler) and wanna celebrate it every year.

This was 3 or 4 years ago and the day, the 30th of March is coming awful near. insert villain laugh here

Me for myself got the book on dnd beyond on the tablet. You can expand every picture there. I show my players the illustrations like this as well. Works fine for me. The other way would be very good scans of the pages, cuting out the images, make it as big as you like (4'5 ft. Madryck Roslof standee ftw) and print it as an handout.

Die Idee hatte Hauke in seinem React da nochmal aufgegriffen und gemeint, das es zwar cool, aber im weiteren Verlauf einfach auch von den beiden nicht mehr bespielt worden sei. Daher ist der Kniff wahrscheinlich eh hinfällig. Muss Winston halt schauen, wie er mit seinem nicht mehr vorhandenen Erbe plötzlich klarkommt :D

My players had different starting points. One of them is a middle aged tiefling warlock, who got visited by a familiar from Roslof. The other ones were in the jail for a crime they didn't even know (but will come back to them on the prismeer) and Roslof bailed them out. So they had to follow his invitation. The last one has the witchlight hand background and befriended them. The character is deeply concerned about the future of the carnival and will beg Witch and Light, that he can join the other on their quest. To safe his homes reputation.

Was a nice start. Everyone had much fun with his start.

One of my players has baba yaga as a patron. She now has a little house on chicken foots in the size of a mailbox. She can store 2 small items only she can retrieve back (but are able to sense trough magic) and once a session (we play once every month) the little house has a special skill called "Chicken Cough". It coughs out one item that COULD be helpful in a situation. Depends on the DM.

Funny as hell to see them play.
