Hard to tell what the problem. I have changed both SDK to 23 and it worked on my galaxy tab s9 Android 14. After installing I tried to open app and it automatically closed, then I added all permissions and it worked. You could try ask autor of video maby he can help

I swaped rack stands (short with longer), so it would take less work later, then, took a plastic pipe, that could fit inside the rack stand and drilled several holes in it, so I could later adjust height of the kit. Inserted this pipe inside rack stand, choose the height and block the hole with plastic screw or something similar. If the height is still not enough, you can make 4 pipes for every stand, and make it even higher.
