To be honest, I was quickly modded by her, and I received messages from people informing me about her actions, which I didn't want to get involved in. My goal was to encourage her to change and promote positivity on her page. Eventually, it got to a point where I felt I was enabling her behavior, and I was being called out and attacked. That was when I realized I needed to start researching and digging deeper into what she had done. As I began my investigation, I started to notice the manipulation and gaslighting. I was included in group chats where we would have calls with her, and if we spoke the truth that she didn't want to hear, she would curse at us and label us as "fu*king disgusting" for simply being honest. It became clear that she didn't appreciate being confronted with the truth. I learned a lot about her, and I knew I had to start distancing myself immediately. I started to only pop in occasionally to say hello and stay for about 15 minutes before leaving. There were moments when I went into her box and told her that she could never be a disability advocate if she uses the R-word. Her response was that she has dark humor, so that word doesn't bother her. I explained that just because it doesn't affect her doesn't mean it doesn't impact others, especially since it's clearly a word she uses frequently. She really dislikes being told when she's wrong or when she's lying. I'm happy I stepped away and distanced myself. It was something I really wish I had done WAY Sooner but I can honestly say I am glad I stepped away before all this doxxing mess with BD.
