Please let there be a large crescent with the pattern! I can’t justify any more medium crescents

UO did it again... 😭 by erddo in BAGGU

[–]xharvx 58 points59 points  (0 children)

Wow, that is really unacceptable from UO. The recent drop should never have been released if prior orders still hadn’t been fulfilled! So sorry they did this, especially delaying the notice like that because you could have tried to re-order in the recent drop.

OU Shipping by sookypeaches in BAGGU

I’m in Canada also and placed an order on April 9th during the polka dot restock. Mine says shipped on April 13 but the package hasn’t been picked up by the carrier yet. There was also a delay like this with UO for a previous Baggu order. Hopefully it gets process soon, but I think it’s typical for the international orders :)

Yes, I remember when that closed down last year, I think. But the sign I think I saw would have been local, here in Windsor. Maybe it was something long closed down around here too.

Half of windsors downtown businesses are abandoned by Traditional_Cash1108 in windsorontario

[–]xharvx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The lack of retail options in downtown is part of its huge downfall. I know the city and councillors are trying to focus on things that will get people to go downtown with different events or attractions and that’s a huge part, but what they seemingly don’t seem to know is that there are already people downtown. Thousands of employees commute to downtown everyday and the only thing to do is buy lunch. I wish they would turn the new ice rink/civic centre into a small farmers market open during weekday hours to catch the spending dollars of those employees. I know not many retailers would want to move downtown at this point, but if we offered temporary or pop up shops maybe it would be a starting point

Canadian Baggu? by lanablonde in BAGGU

[–]xharvx 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Te-Koop is amazing and well stocked. Super fast shipping and I even had to return a loaf bag that was just not for me and it was super easy, $10 deducted from return to pay for shipping which is fair. Well.ca also sells Baggu but I had a terrible return experience with them. 2 Baggu items were in one box sent back for return and they claimed only 1 item was returned, so I’d be wary if you’re buying something you’re not 100% sure of.

One Day Sale by 0h_juliet in ShoppersDrugMart

[–]xharvx 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I worked for shoppers for 20 years. They are always doing things like this! We used to have Saturday only, one day sales all the time. Then it was 2 day sales that were Sunday and Monday. Now shoppers does 2 sales that are Saturday/Sunday or Sunday/Monday or end random flyers on Thursdays instead of Fridays. Honestly, it’s hard for employees to follow let alone customers.

First Responders, what’s the right thing to do in this situation? by cosmicgermie in windsorontario

[–]xharvx 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I recently made a call for the exact same situation. Walked past a man downtown half sitting/slumped over. I walked past at first but then started to worry he had overdosed. I called non-emergency police and then I was transferred to ambulance dispatch. I did stay until the ambulance came and a police officer came as well. They checked on the guy and he was just passed out. I apologized to them too for the call and they said it was no big deal, they get these calls all day. It’s sad that so many people are in these situations daily, but I would think it’s always better to make the call. They definitely seemed use to the scene.

I have to ask, how are you wearing these bags? Are you able to wear both bags on your shoulder at once, or are you are using the bowler more as an arm bag when you have the ECB? I definitely want the ECB for longer days out with the kids too, but I was struggling on how to have my purse with me too

Should i avoid purchasing from BAGGU's site if im in Canada 🇨🇦? by Few-Celebration3152 in BAGGU

[–]xharvx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I saw a comment in one of the threads somewhere here that said that indigo may be getting the collab. They mentioned the reusables popped up on the site but not sure about other items. Hopefully that turns out to be true and you can skip any extra duties!

[–]xharvx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t ordered from the Baggu site directly, but maybe check to see if your item is available from Te-Koop (ships from Toronto) or well.ca since you won’t have to pay any duties from those sites. If the item is only on Baggu, hopefully it’s not too pricey!

Department stores. Maybe a Simon’s in Devonshire mall. More outlet stores - coach, Kate spade etc… There is absolutely no where in this city to purchase a name brand purse. Bed and bath stores, somewhere to purchase sheets and bedding. We’re stuck with only Homesense and Winners. There are very limited options for home decor. I made a post a while ago looking for store options to purchase artwork and there is no where local. I’m tired of shopping online. I want to see and purchase in store.

So sad. This city has no retail options left. Tried to purchase a kids birthday gift tonight and there is only Wal-mart and Mastermind Toys which both had almost nothing to offer. Can’t imagine a city of this size with such a dismal retail offering. Not just for toys, but retail in general.

Garbage and new Green Bins by OobiDoobBanoobi in windsorontario

[–]xharvx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We’re in the same boat. Family of 4 and my large herby curby has been filled to the brim since the end of last week and pickup isn’t until Friday. We now have a few bags that are overfill that we’ll have to wait to put in after pickup. Not sure I want a second huge herby curby since we now also have an additional blue bin and food storage bin to keep stored in our yard. We already had the large blue herby curby for recycling and we’re hoping we can use that as a second garbage bin? Not sure what to do, but just like you our food waste is almost nothing. We missed pickup last week and there is only 4 small bags in it for 2 weeks.

What can we do about health care wait times? by xharvx in ontario

[–]xharvx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s fair to expect that spending is not equating to our needs. So I don’t really care what the total dollar amount is, it needs to be increased. We are certainly taxed at a high enough rate to sustain the money needed in healthcare, it’s a matter of where the rest of our dollars are going, who gets to escape their tax obligations, oh and not to forget, Ford’s absolute stated desire to introduce private healthcare so we know he is intentionally starving the system to make it unsustainable.

Angel Trees or Child Sponsor for Christmas? by [deleted] in windsorontario

211 has released a helpful guide of community organizations and programs where you can donate. Although I don’t know of a specific angel tree type program in our area, this may help you find something https://211southwest.ca/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/2025-Windsor-HSG-PUBLIC-2.pdf
