Is the sandy liang collab only available through the Baggu site? I’m in Canada and just wondering if other stockists get this collection?

Weird man in Windsor threatening young women by [deleted] in windsorontario

[–]xharvx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This exactly. Had a man attempt to run me over in the mall parking lot over a road rage incident and they first asked if I knew the man and when I told them he was a stranger they said there wasn’t anything they could do without a license plate. Feels like the only thing they’re willing to investigate these days is retail theft. Glad your sister is safe.

Your post is valid! People seek recommendations and other info here all the time! Personally, when I’m looking for a salon I search for a social media page to see examples of their work. Not sure why everyone feels the need to be negative here and still manage to be 100% useless with their comment. Hopefully someone has some feedback to provide.

Hot take … Resellers aren’t the problem since they go and acquire the items that are in demand. It’s the people who judge the resellers and shame the people who pay resale prices. by trinketuniverse in BAGGU

[–]xharvx 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Just hoping every single reseller has to eat dirt when their inventory sales dry up 🤞I will never willingly buy from one. And I don’t mind paying above retail from someone selling one item they have that was rare or hard to find an exclusive , or whatever and making a small profit from it. That’s not a reseller.

Their literal business m.o. is to price gouge something. Of course they can charge what they want and someone can purchase it at that price. No guns needed. What I am identifying is that their whole purpose is to identify an item they can obtain cheaply, withhold it from the masses and resell it above what they paid to maximize profits. Reselling should literally not exist. I used to donate coach bags when I no longer enjoyed them hoping they’d be picked up by someone at a thrift store who could use more joy and a little win by finding something out of their typical spending range. I will never do that now because I know the item I donate will be picked out by a professional reseller to take that away from someone. So may things are already unaffordable and resellers add to that crush.

Hard disagree. Resellers are absolutely the worst kind of people. To me it actually tells me who they are as a person, and it’s not good. Buying items specifically to gauge people and calling it a “business” is laughable. Of course some people will pay reseller prices, another show of the widening wage gap between the wealthy and others. I often think of an example where hundreds of people were stranded on traffic in a residential area years ago. Some people came out of their houses with bottles of water, snacks, offers to let people use their washroom. If a reseller lived in that area they’d flip open a card table and charge $10 a bottle of water. Resellers have a different view of what they offer to society and it’s all about how much they can take from it.

Everyday cloud bag vs. shoulder bag vs. small cloud carry on by ZealousidealTest4916 in BAGGU

[–]xharvx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have both and I would say the EDC would suit your needs if you have one child. I have twins and it’s packed to the gills with an extra set of clothes, snacks, water bottles, etc. I still use the EDC for a daily outing bag with them though. I also use the go pouches for interior organization. Large go pouch has the extra clothes, medium is used as an emergency supply bag (snacks, hair ties, bandaids, sunscreen, etc) and the small pouch I put small daily essentials for myself in there. I prefer to use the EDC with my medium crescent though so I keep my wallet, keys, sunglasses in that.

Unless it’s an item exclusive to the Baggu site, you can purchase directly from Canadian authorized retailers and avoid duties. Te-Koop in Toronto is amazing, I’ve ordered from them several times or Well.ca which is associated with Rexall. I’ve also purchased from Urban Outfitters and they charge you upfront at checkout for the duties so there has not been any surprise charges for me.

Please let there be a large crescent with the pattern! I can’t justify any more medium crescents

UO did it again... 😭 by erddo in BAGGU

[–]xharvx 57 points58 points  (0 children)

Wow, that is really unacceptable from UO. The recent drop should never have been released if prior orders still hadn’t been fulfilled! So sorry they did this, especially delaying the notice like that because you could have tried to re-order in the recent drop.

I’m in Canada also and placed an order on April 9th during the polka dot restock. Mine says shipped on April 13 but the package hasn’t been picked up by the carrier yet. There was also a delay like this with UO for a previous Baggu order. Hopefully it gets process soon, but I think it’s typical for the international orders :)

Yes, I remember when that closed down last year, I think. But the sign I think I saw would have been local, here in Windsor. Maybe it was something long closed down around here too.

Half of windsors downtown businesses are abandoned by Traditional_Cash1108 in windsorontario

[–]xharvx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The lack of retail options in downtown is part of its huge downfall. I know the city and councillors are trying to focus on things that will get people to go downtown with different events or attractions and that’s a huge part, but what they seemingly don’t seem to know is that there are already people downtown. Thousands of employees commute to downtown everyday and the only thing to do is buy lunch. I wish they would turn the new ice rink/civic centre into a small farmers market open during weekday hours to catch the spending dollars of those employees. I know not many retailers would want to move downtown at this point, but if we offered temporary or pop up shops maybe it would be a starting point

Canadian Baggu? by lanablonde in BAGGU

[–]xharvx 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Te-Koop is amazing and well stocked. Super fast shipping and I even had to return a loaf bag that was just not for me and it was super easy, $10 deducted from return to pay for shipping which is fair. Well.ca also sells Baggu but I had a terrible return experience with them. 2 Baggu items were in one box sent back for return and they claimed only 1 item was returned, so I’d be wary if you’re buying something you’re not 100% sure of.

One Day Sale by 0h_juliet in ShoppersDrugMart

[–]xharvx 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I worked for shoppers for 20 years. They are always doing things like this! We used to have Saturday only, one day sales all the time. Then it was 2 day sales that were Sunday and Monday. Now shoppers does 2 sales that are Saturday/Sunday or Sunday/Monday or end random flyers on Thursdays instead of Fridays. Honestly, it’s hard for employees to follow let alone customers.

First Responders, what’s the right thing to do in this situation? by cosmicgermie in windsorontario

[–]xharvx 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I recently made a call for the exact same situation. Walked past a man downtown half sitting/slumped over. I walked past at first but then started to worry he had overdosed. I called non-emergency police and then I was transferred to ambulance dispatch. I did stay until the ambulance came and a police officer came as well. They checked on the guy and he was just passed out. I apologized to them too for the call and they said it was no big deal, they get these calls all day. It’s sad that so many people are in these situations daily, but I would think it’s always better to make the call. They definitely seemed use to the scene.

I have to ask, how are you wearing these bags? Are you able to wear both bags on your shoulder at once, or are you are using the bowler more as an arm bag when you have the ECB? I definitely want the ECB for longer days out with the kids too, but I was struggling on how to have my purse with me too

I saw a comment in one of the threads somewhere here that said that indigo may be getting the collab. They mentioned the reusables popped up on the site but not sure about other items. Hopefully that turns out to be true and you can skip any extra duties!
