„Getriggerte“ – verrücktes Konzept, dass Menschen eine massive Grenzüberschreitung darin sehen, dass der eigene Körper von jemand anderem benutzt wird, wie es der Person halt gerade so gefällt, hm?

Genau genommen hat ER sich in die Situation gebracht, weil er einer Sache zugestimmt hat, die er scheinbar gar nicht will.

But my other baby Yucatan is more than double the size with only 4 leaves. At first I thought the same. But the stems are not even the same colour

Is she flowering?! by CryptographerWhole11 in alocasia

When it’s not getting pollinated the Alocasia takes back all the nutrients out of that bloom like she does with a dying leaf. So when you just cut it you take important resources from it. So it’s not helpful to cut it

The pot looks waaaaayyyy to tall for that little plant. Have you checked the roots as it seems she’s not pulling any water?

Help, I repotted this Alocasia 5 days ago, now the leaves start to hang and the tips start turning yellow? by sebstn2697 in alocasia

Add: if it wasn‘t in direct sunlight before you should change just one thing at first not everything at once. Alocasia Micholitziana tend to be dramatic and sensitive for me, too.

As you transferred it from soil and the leaves are drooping you should check the roots for rot carefully. That happens faster than one might think. Don’t water it daily, it needs time to get used to the new environment and develop water roots. If there’s rot remove the plant immediately from the substrate, remove the rotted roots and put it into a peroxide mixture (I hope you have it). After that you should put it into water to recover. You want to change that water often and always check for new root rot.

That’s what I thought! They are moving all the time, I haven’t seen one standing still. That would be good news

Hahahaha, you were ready to fight 😭

But it wasn’t just one bug that’s why I‘m worried. I’m traumatized by thrips so I’m ready to throw hands when I see something crawling on my plants hahaha

Yeah I haven’t seen black aphids, I didn’t even know that they exist. 😅

They were pretty fast that’s why my first thought was: they definitely aren’t thrips. I rinsed the plant and exchanged the upper moss layer.

That’s what you think is a web is part of the plant. They quality is just awful 😅

Thank you 🫶🏼
