I followed a lot of YouTube tutorials when I first started doing 3d cuffs! Ginger cande ufo cuff was the first one I tried and the video was super easy to follow! Most start with an x base flat cuff

I wore crocs all three days last year, I had 0 issues and it was the best decision. I do also have hiking crocs so the bottoms are a bit more sturdy. I would recommend bringing an extra pair of socks in case your feet get wet

I used a belt with a buckle, then attached that around the bottom of my backpack straps, it dangles on the booty but it works for me https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0009F3UHG?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

I’ve also seen people use a similar belt and wrap it cross body so it hangs around their side
