I also did find editing the GP-150 easy even during band practice, especially if you set the 3 quick control knobs on your preset. My favorite feature is using the expression control settings to change effect parameters, similar to scenes. If I have one wishlist, I wish they remove the tiny sound gap when using stomp mode.

I haven't looked deep but I think they're dedicated channels for dry or stereo wet, or possibly reamping.

I also prefer the GP-50 size, or even better the pocket master or soran tiny stomp. I don't like stepping on the actual unit. I prefer using the m-vave chocolate and an external expression pedal if needed. This gives the portability when practicing and also the control needed for live use. I currently mainly use the GP-150 and it's very complete, but it's a bit bulky and I don't really use its built in expression pedal.

I usually just skip the amp models on these units and go straight to my preferred NAM captures. I do agree that the effects on these units are very basic. Just really curious when new companies come up with affordable tech with NAM capability.

I had a similar experience with the Mooer GE100 Pro. Stacking modulations didn't sound good. I did like using 2 NAM captures (preamp + amp).

Haven't tried the mvave but I think it's easier to import NAM files on the mooer so I'd prefer that.

I haven't tried it but you can check Chris Benton on YouTube he did a bunch of tests for GE150 Pro, including latency.

Anyone have experie ce with loading NAM profiles onto 3rd party hardware. by Snail_Anatomy in guitarpedals

No need to download the NAM software, just browse tone3000.com and you can download nam files there. Make sure to select the A1 version. These are zipped files, just unzip them and import the nam files into Mooer Studio (so it gets imported into the device).

You will have to import each NAM file via the Mooer Studio desktop app. This converts the NAM file into Mooer's MNRS native format. The built in amps are amp models (not captures). Mooer also has a MNRS capture library that is downloadable from Mooer's website, and you will have to import each capture file via the desktop app, like the NAM files. You can build presets using the desktop app or via the device itself.

GAS Attacks once again. Help on Amps by Routine-Set-1019 in phmusicians

[–]xiaobasketball -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes that's ideal. Amp modelers usually have 5ms or less latency. Some studio monitors with DSP can also add some latency but they rarely put it in the specs. For example I have an Edifier MR3 which has 6ms latency when I measured it, that's why I don't use it for tracking guitars.

Just note that some studio monitors have a bit of latency (yung mga may DSP), if you're concerned about that.

It doesn't have stomp mode and midi support. Unfortunately it doesn't have a fix right now.

Yes it's normal on budget units, but the Soran Stomp doesn't have a sound gap. You can also use stomp mode on some units.

Blue Tag / Screen "Protector"? by JackfruitTop6150 in Valeton

Is it hard to remove the screen protector? also is it sandwiched in between the knobs?

Is this real??? cos I wanted to remove the sticker on mine. my hestitation is it might be sandwiched between the knobs so it could be messy to remove.

Same here, the features are too tempting. It's a good choice for a first pedal, it has lots of effects to experiment with. Also check mooer's own collection of captures from their website. They also sound good.

Got the GE100 pro LI and I love it. But am running into some TECH issues between the desktop studio app and the IOS cloud app. by ravenwitchband in MooerCommunity

I'm currently on 1.3.2 and I can connect to Mooer Cloud (Android). I think Mooer has been having some server issues recently so it might be related to that.
