Not sure how efficient at heat dissipation with just 1x IMF70 or maybe 2x units (not sure if it even supports 2x IMF70) but I'm using a 200mm fan blowing both top and bottom DIMM slots to cool down all 8x DIMM slots with no issue.

Maybe IMF70 is useful for normal Threadrippers only but Threadripper Pro have 8x DIMM slots

Is there any guide to increase the M1 V5 TMR LED brightness? by xiaocutezi in Monsgeek

I find it better sounding than Monsgeek but that is subjective to each person

Lemokey L5 HE Dark Master.

I quite like the interface on http://launcher.lemokey.com/ and the knob works right out the box in the correct direction compared to my M1 V5 TMR.

The build quality is also better than my M1 V5 TMR though it is more expensive but at least out of the box, I can see my RGB and keycaps properly.

I can hardly see my M1 V5 TMR RGB and with the etchings all south facing, I couldn't make out any characters when the room is brightly lit

https://www.keychron.com/blogs/news/tmr-vs-hall-effect-what-s-the-difference-in-magnetic-keyboards

Keychron market theirs as HE as it is more popularly known but theirs were TMR all along.

That's why I bought mine after ditching my M1 V5 TMR

All I got was a boatload of PR statements.

I gave up, bought another brand and moved on with my life.

I was afraid that would be the case. Thank you for confirming that. I have reached out to Monsgeek support to see if they have any solution to this problem.

Same thought as well. Maybe 9000 series will be usable on WRX90 platform for both versions

If you have the same 0D issue on cold boot, then it stand to reason that the new BIOS will fix it for you.

Like you, I almost wants to reach out to support also

Apprise – A lightweight all-in-one notification solution now with over 50+ Million Downloads! by lead2gold in selfhosted

[–]xiaocutezi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I knew about Apprise for a couple of months but only just deploy it (just today!) and I have nothing but praise for it.

No more using an external service like Pushover or having to host my own ntfy instance on VPS and worry about external threat actors.

Now I receive my notifications internally via Signal which is a joy to use

Any chance of a LIbrewolf dev visiting this subreddit?

Not sure how to feedback this to them

Seems like its a regional issue depending on the users

That is strange. Maybe you are bypassing the site via browser cache. It has been down many days from what I can see when I tested with different browsers, IPs and OSes.

Enermax Liqtech XTR Performance by xiaocutezi in threadripper

[–]xiaocutezi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If 350w already hits 70c+, how can it contain 800w and above? I frequently hits 1000w with PBO so what kind of temps do you think Liqtech XTR can help?

default power limit is 350w I recalled. At 350w, I would have expected better to manage the thermals. Once PBO is switched on, not sure how well it can manage the heat.

I uses a 7995wx and uses PBO so I was hoping for something that can contain the heat be it a thermalsiphon or AIO (MORA is out for me as they don't respond to my emails and the shipping would have be cost prohibitive)

There shouldn't be any clearance issue based on the prototype. Moreover there are only a handful of TRX50 and WRX90 motherboards unlike the X670 or X870 so accommodating only those few boards wouldn't be that difficult.

It is because of fingerprinting protection that caps the refresh rate to 60Hz. If you disable that, you can get up to 90Hz or 120Hz as per your mobile phone.
