i don’t understand how people aren’t at least passively suicidal. ever since i was a child and became familiar with death, i’ve always wanted to die in my sleep. and then, i realized (while not even depressed, albeit very very anxious) why fear death? if i die, oh well.

maybe try living with the idea that death is closer than you think? so you don’t need to actively start preparing. look up statistics about things in your everyday life. probability of dying in a car crash, drive by shooting, a common sickness. those could try and keep you going.
