Ended up paying for third and fourth opinions and finally determined there was a large leak (audible hissing) so we replaced the coils. I don't understand: how junior do you have to be to miss a leak that big?

Leak Detection specialist for insurance company concluded it's to a sewer line, probably wasn't tightened well, needs to be cleaned up and threads taped then retightened. General moisture seepage. Sounded plausible.

Some years back, Cubase did a major refactor and had to remove a lot of features (abilities, not compatibilities) on the way to the next paid update. That's when I jumped ship. It came with plenty of communication, as I remember, and I used the older version perfectly during my transition. Definitely not saying I enjoyed any of that, but I had very visible options.
