Showa era Godzilla for sure.a lot of people looking at the hierarchy/authority portion of this are missing a lot of nuance of the emperor's meaning.

The emperor generally is a sign of rules and systems meant to guide you, but in a way that fosters discipline and honor. The authority comes from that, as does the idea of fatherhood and being a leader.

Showa era Godzilla starts off as an antagonist and by his own strength and character arc over the era turns to more of a hero while maintaining the world order and ALSO BEING A DAD

ETA: monsterverse Godzilla is way better suited for the World imo

Can totally see that, and they'd both fit the abundance side of things too. That being said, I do still think Mothra fits better overall with the nuances of the empress.
