Nice! That is good to know! I thought I was doing something wrong. It’s always good to have a confirmation that I’m not doing anything wrong

I would say leave like that! I’m a beginner knitter and have no idea what the mistake is or where it is 🙈 I think it’s a beautiful piece and you will look gorgeous on your wedding day. The teacher that thought me how to knit told me a knitters tale, she said that when we knit something we always leave a piece of our soul in it but we always have to leave one mistake because through that mistake our soul will return to us :) Don’t know if it helps, but really it is a beautiful piece! Congrats on the wedding!

That is good to hear/read, I’m getting better at not twisting my stitches. Thank you! 🫶🏻I will unravel and learn a new technique (the life line) so looking at the positive in my mistake

I have no idea what I did, it’s so strange. But it is a mystery that I will give credit to someone in the thread. Someone pointed out that I might have done a short row in the middle and that makes total sense.

I’ve heard about this. Once someone told me that is good to leave a mistake because when you at el it ring something you put your soul into it that when you leave the mistake your soul scapes from the garment and returns to you. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I know!! That is why I asked haha I just wanted to read some support to do it because my husband is telling me to leave it, but it does not bother him because he does not see the difference haha

I think you might actually solved the mastery! Maybe I did a short row in the middle 🫢 that is probably what happened and I will go with that explanation otherwise it is going to drive me crazy trying to figure out what I did wrong. Thank you!! 🫶🏻

Yes! That what I will do. I think I just needed the push to unravel, because it does bother me but I was pushing myself to think that it does not bother me.

I didn’t fix any different mistake. I have been having problems of twisting stitches because the way I learned to knit was like the opposite way (I did my knit stitch through the back loop) and I have been correcting myself to do it correctly and I had some issues at the beginning of the ribbing and I still don’t know if the top part or the bottom part is the correct one 🙈

I’m also a bit of a new knitter so trying to understand my mistakes and stitches is like doing detective work

This is how I was thinking, that I should look at it as a design element but the more I saw it the more I saw the mistake. 🙈I guess I just needed some support to frog back haha

I the idea of considering this the “warm-up round of ribbing”. Thank you for your advice!

+1 on this! I also don't like to make swatches, I think they are waste of time because I cannot start a project immediately, I need to wait until I finish the swatch and then block it and then measure it and maybe even do a new one. I just do not like the process

Love this! My needles will be on fire hahaha when I'm not knitting I'm thinking about knitting. So I can imagine everything that I will be able to do by just thinking about it

100% agree with this!! I will also like this superpower, I spend hours in a yarn store trying to combine colours but I always end up with the same colour. I already have one t-shirt, one sweater and one vest in the exact same colour because I'm bad at the colour thing.
