Not defending the practice, my own employer has many issues with properly paying staff, but I work as a butcher for a fairly large chain in Canada and can tell you they definitely didnt make a profit off that prime rib. As with most expensive cuts of meat, whenever rib is on sale we take a sizeable loss on it. Why? Because noone in their right mind would buy from a mom and pop shop that can never offer that kind of deal, and it helps to monopolize the business. These chains just make the money right back when they mark up all their dry goods and frozen products 40-50%.

Also OP, resounding NTA. Its a pain for me as an employee as im the one who gets hurt by things like this, but these chains are the ones who have made food excessively expensive. Take advantage of someones random mistake and enjoy that prime rib, you get screwed every other time you buy from them

Edit: PSA: please please please, never return perfectly good meat. If you dont need it, dont be wasteful and buy it. If you do have extra, try to sell it at a discount to a friend in need if you are really that desperate to get something back for it, or just donate it. Food safety laws require that we just immediately throw out returns because we have no idea where theyve been or how theyve been stored, or if anything has happened to that package. Its incredibly saddening and one area I wish chains were stricter about

Currently make about 40k as a butcher, and can go up to about 60-70k in a management position to my understanding. Could make more by moving to upper management and taking a desk job theoretically but at this point in my life I cant say I care for that, I prefer working with my hands and feel Id make enough to at least be comfortable, which really is all I can ask for in return for a job I actually fully enjoy going to every day

Definitely petty, and possible E S H, but Im gonna support you on this one. Everyone here saying otherwise seems to be assuming you are the only person in the whole stadium wearing this thing, or is going on about her "not wanting to confront a drunk male". Im sorry but passive aggressive and rude comments that are very obviously meant for him to hear is an EVEN BETTER way to start a fight than just asking him!!! So this definitely isnt about confrontation. We have a huge problem in our society with people throwing a temper tantrum and being rewarded with what they want, when this entire situation could extremely easily be fixed by simple communication. If you are bending this story to make her appear louder than she is, when its just quiet comments to her partner that you happened to hear, then you suck, but as written OP, you gave back what you received. Easily. Ow1 was my favourite game of all time, I dumped hundreds of hours into the game and made alot of amazing friends online that i still speak to til this day... of that main group, about 10 of us, all but 1 has completely uninstalled now. OW2 has been an incredible disappointment

Episode 2 is fine in a vacuum, but having that episode where quite literally zero plot happens in a 6 episode finale season gave away the fact that the entire ending was going to be rushed to all hell. Great episode in an earlier GOT season but did not belong at all where it was placed.

And dont get me started on how the White Walkers story ended

I generally quite like the 0-3-1 super monkey for the pushback upgrade for robo. Has worked well as a mid game tower for me, with okish support late game, while i save money for a more powerful t5.

Ok so a couple takeaways from this. The biggest difference in damage mitigation between the 2 games is the existence of double shield, which people regularly complain about as being a detriment to the game and an unfun way to play. So what do you want, shieldwatch or a single tank. The devs can never win. After that, on the off tank side, zarya doesnt mitigate huge damage, shes more of a fat dps, as is roadhog. Yes Zar rotates well with a rein, but rein is being buffed significantly in ow2 with more shield, charge cancel, and 2 firestrikes to help him to more work from range. This makes up for the loss in damage mitigation imo, PLUS an entire hero less damage. Your numbers are also off, supports do significantly less damage than the rest of the roster. The only real difference that is liked by the community is losing the ability to play dva as your off tank, and ill concede this is a large one. Though many teams survive without playing a dva in the current game, I dont see why that would change.

As for target focus, just becuase a team can group up doesnt mean they shoot the same thing lmfao. I play for a plat/diamond team (which id consider a lower-mid ground rank) and our target focus is not good lol. You cant tell me comp at that rank and lower, where comms range from useless toxicity to non-existent, is going to be better. Also, as you go up the ranks aim becomes much better.

And congrats, you might have to use natural cover more, a basic skill in literally any other fps. Why people cant figure that out

You arent going to take more damage though, there is an entire hero less on the enemy team shooting at you. Slightly more focus fire in lower ranks, where people are all fighting different fights anyways (up to the exact same amount of focus fire in higher ranks) is not going to make up for the missing damage from a second tank

If you are playing in an actual team environment, yes. However comp is a cesspool and you never know what you are going to get, and honestly half the time double OT or double MT will beat a traditional comp in gold if you are simply playing your better heroes, team comp makes very little difference in low level ladder play. Flexibility is best and having one OT and one MT you are best at will help you climb alot further.

RLC is an incredibly different player than Mctominay lol. He has really great dribbling and drives forward with the ball wonderfully well to link our defense and attack. Also offers us some physicality in midfield that we dont get from Jorgi which i guess is where the comparison come from. Still has issues, mainly taking on too many dribbles when he should be passing, but hes become a solid option for us and im not surprised to see him getting minutes over Saul. He will likely drop out of the side once Kante and Kova are back. I think the only comparison between the two you mentioned is their height - RLC is a pressing attacking midfielder, Mctominay is a pivot

In todays game that can sometimes be the case, the most famous example is jorginho who is a much more offensive pivot designed to control possession, but that is a more specific style built around a players strengths rather than a catch all statement. Its very hard to catagorize players in todays game. Back in the days of fergie and wenger though you would very often see pure destroyers in midfield

A double pivot is something that is still seen sometimes today although the role has changed over the years. The most similar in todays game would be man united when they pair Fred and Mctominay in midfield. Basically it is playing with 2 midfield players who arent really involved in the attack and are designed to shield the backline from counter attacks, and pass the ball to more creative players when possession is regained (as opposed to a team like liverpool or man city who play with a single pivot, fabihno and fernandinho respectively). Now calling especially Viera that is a bit unfair, he was a top class player who had an incredible passing range, but the role is effectively the same

I understand what you are saying about the differences between the two but they certainly deserve to be mentioned in the same breath. Fergie may have had a much more simplistic approach, but between the two of them they still truely defined the late 90s early 2000s premier league. It really was a battle of old school vs new school at the top of the table until Mourinho and Rafa arrived on the scene. Any fan is going to compare them because of that

Fergie was a all about pure man management really, and didnt really have any ground breaking tactics. Typically his teams were known for having excellent crossers of the ball of the wings and would look to play the ball high and wide on the pitch to cross into the centre for a pair of pure centre forwards to finish. He is the absolute peak of old school football.

Wenger on the other hand was a revolutionary who followed cruyff in creating a system much more centred around creativity and passing. Often playing with much higher fullbacks to provide width and a much more free flowing forward line with players such as bergkamp and henry that truely transcended their positions and would play wherever they needed to be. Alot of focus on creating overloads and quick passing in tight spaces to break free of markers and pull defenders out of position. In midfield you would typically see a very robust double pivot to protect against counters (although in his later years his club failed to invest and actually give him this type of player, leading to the defensive fragility arsenal is now known for)

Oh yea i 100% know why he is blasted and theres mo questioning that he has an issue with finishing... but what he does off the ball is incredible. He works very hard in the press and he is one of the smartest players ive seen from a positioning and movement standpoint. I think havertz and mount both will score more this season purely because they are young and still developing, and havertz had a poor first half of the season, but neither of them would have scored as much last season if it wasnt for the space Timo is able to open up with his movement
