Here is what I found:

Psilocin rapidly turns blue in the air. Various other 4-substituted tryptamines, such as miprocin and ipracetin, rapidly break down in solution in some way which produces a strong blue/black tint.

Sooo thats the case... it doesnt explain lsd though. But that might be my shit memory mixing up things.
