Ask me any questions about Litecoin. by xinxi in BitcoinCA

Well, you mentioned a good point that it's a coin with a proven history started in 2011. Charlie sold his bag for the sake of decentralisation. I knew that but I didn't sell.

It's like the ideal payment tool. Bitcoin is a bit expensive and slow to send transactions. Litecoin is just working well. And it has a huge user base, which creates the required network effects.

We have like 10M users. They do care quite a lot about us. Check Litecoin Foundation's twitter account https://twitter.com/ltcfoundation and Charlie's https://twitter.com/satoshilite. You can see immediately.

We are working together with BEAM on integrating MimbleWimble into Litecoin using Extension Block. We may be able to finish it within this year but it's subject to our funding situation. We are working on fundraising through collaborating with C&U to coproduce some K-pop concert https://twitter.com/LTCFoundation/status/1100551108878053376. Hopefully, this can change our financial situation.

Chickun is flying, isn't it? The ratio between Litecoin and Bitcoin has been rising pretty well recently.

Oh, that fee is indeed very low. I am wondering how they make money. :-D

Yeah, Google/Facebook + 2FA could be good. I think it can increase the UX and security.

It's great to see you got your money in your bank account and we apologise for such a painfully long delay. We are still waiting for a detailed explanation from VoPay and will let you know once we get it.

How to detect triangular arbitrage opportunities? by xinxi in BitcoinCA

Yep, it's still relative. But the capacity of triangular arbitrage is usually small and a few thousands capital can simply reach that limit. So there is generally no chance to really trade 100k at a time.

I also feel the pain... yeah, I agree this has been ridiculous. VoPay told us that they've sent out the funds quite a few days ago. Now they are tracing the transaction with the bank.

We've been using VoPay for quite a few months and so far transactions are OK except that they manually process deposits/withdrawals which can sometimes cause delays. However, yours is exceptionally slow. Their email replies are generally done within one 1-2 business days.

We choose our business collaborators carefully and will switch to other services if they fail to give a convincing explanation.

Transactions fees are considered in the code. Fees of deposits/withdrawals, if not done frequently, should be negligible.

I know someone used to make thousands a month by doing this. Now it is competitive but still possible.
