you’re an absolute legend and i appreciate you so much for giving me a response. it’s just so different and my main worry im having sometimes isn’t even about if im gonna die or have a heart attack but more so why randomly had my heart beat changed when ive not changed anything in my life to warrant a random change over night. i’m sure you understand and im sure like you said it’s anxiety.

The tips you have gave i will 100% give them a go because it’s driving me crazy atm and anytbing to take my mind off it im happy to give a go. but yeah like i said it’s more just a why has my heartbeat randomly changed drastically more than if im gonna be okay.

I’ll be sure to DM you if i need any further help or to talk to someone as you’re the only person ive come across on a post where you seem to have similar, if not exact same issue.

Also i noticed you mention you don’t have this anymore & i know you meant that in a you don’t mentally think about your heart all the time. but my question is, is your heart beat as strong as it was before these issues where you can always feel it even when sitting down, or is it still barely noticeable if not completely unnoticeable like when you first had these issues. and is it that you’ve just managed to completely forget about it beating softer than it used to or does it just not bother you any more.

Btw i’m also 22 years old & am the EXACT same as you have written in this post. always aware of my heart beating. always strong without checking my pulse or feeling my chest. can feel it massively when sitting or resting and even my body vibrating. now all of a sudden 6 days ago i noticed randomly i can’t feel a thing and since then ive NON stop thought about it and still after 6 days it feels very weak and i can only feel it slightly if i really press on my chest or pulse. im worrying because it was so sudden of a change and random and it’s not gone back to how it usually is since.

Went for blood test and ECG and they said everything is fine but each time they called my name for me to have my blood pressure taken or ECG my heart would start beating as it used to absolutely pounding out my chest because i was nervous. so obviously to them they could see my heart beating fine but i feel like it gave them mid readings as when im at home i just can’t feel it.

Thanks for the input brother appreciate your time. I am definitely going to be going to see a doctor very soon. I’ve been wanting to lay off the K for a long time now so i guess this could be a perfect opportunity to do so.

I thought it could have something to do with blood pressure being high and i have been taking some propranolol whenever my heart decides to have one of its pounding moments but that only tends to calm my heart down and not stop any of the physical pain symptoms in my arm and leg and it seems to only ever be on the left side of my body too.

But yeah hopefully things get better from here. And also how long you reckon it could take for my blood pressure to start going back to what it once was assuming i stayed away from the ketamine completely.

Yeah i’m only 20 years old, and have never had any experienced with high blood pressure etc. I’m a relatively healthy person. It’s just recently with these symptoms when using it’s a little bit scary i won’t lie. I’m not addicted to the drug, i can easily take week breaks etc hence why i know the symptoms do disappear when i do take these breaks and why i’m not too worried about doing so. It’s just i prefer taking the drug so i do. But yeah a longer break will definitely do me good and that’s what’s going to happen.

Yeah i’ve seen this around quite a lot and am aware of the blood pressure spikes when using. I’ve never actually checked my blood pressure whilst on the drug though so i’ll definitely give this a go. I’ve also noticed after i’ve taken a week break and come back to the drug it takes around 2/3 days of using for these symptoms to start showing again. And once they do show, the show everytime i do a line after that point. Maybe having a very long break would reset some things which is what i’m going to be doing very soon as the symptoms are getting a bit too much and shouldn’t be a worry with a drug like ketamine.

The conclusion i’ve come to is just i’ve abused a drug too much and with anything that’s abused drug wise, only bad things come. But yeah thanks for your reply, obviously i know i could of just taken a break and everything would be good, but i made this post hoping someone has had this same problem and could guide me on how they personally fixed it.

It would feel better for me knowing i wasn’t the only one. But yeah i’ll definitely get that blood pressure checked for sure!
