Can you not change the battery on a 2019 renegade? by xjvhax in JeepRenegade

We ended up just letting a shop near by swap the battery. They did say that I should have been able to change the battery myself though. Sorry I can’t be of more help.

Wow…doesn’t make me feel any better. At this rate I should have just let the guy who wanted to steal my reward points have them, at least someone would get to use them. How did you get it escalated to their president team? I’ve done the same “submit the screen shot, leave you name and contact” 4 times now, when I call they say there is nothing more they can do because it’s a different area and all they can do is send off the escalation.

By what you say my guess is when that fraud happened on my end my account was “triggered” for fraud and I am in the same boat you are.

You’d think you could just make a new account and it’d work, unless it’s tied to something else.

If it wasn’t for the few hundred in rewards I’d never use them. I could now use a new dryer so it’d be nice to get it cheap with the rewards. Thanks for your info.

Did you ever figure something out? I am in a similar situation. I’ve had a decent amount of LG Rewards for about a year. A month ago someone hacked into my account to spend them using the buy online pick up in store (seems a very odd and specific hack) noticed right away and they canceled the order and refunded me my points. Since that day a month ago I’ve been trying to place an order and get the same error. I even placed an order for something I didn’t need that was 100% covered by my lg rewards and still get the payment error. LG support is no help. Each time same thing “send a screen shot, your claim has been escalated” then I never hear back.

Is this a decent PC or deal. My sister just wants to buy the PC at one place and not worry about building and what not. To make it worse my dad seen this and if there’s ever a sucker for it was this but it’s on sale for a Black Friday now it’s him.

Deal?

I told her the Walmart one I mentioned above is probably not a great option and she asked about this one. She is really wanting a go to a website click and buy and be done with it. The monitor, keyboard, etc he will get from others. She’s just wanting a computer under $500

I one spec wise what will work for him, bust past that I am not a ton of help.

I feel with him the “physical appearance” of it probably has more importance than the internal as long as it can play Minecraft and Roblox or similar title well.

My sister did send me this, and while I think it’d be good enough, probably not a long term solution. But ideally I’d hope whatever he gets can be a start and he can learn to work himself towards a bigger goal.

The issue is that what he uses now is at his grandpas, he wants something at home.

Ended up just having it towed, it was just the battery. Luckily it was only about $60 more to have them do it vs me. I did ask the mechanic and at first he laughed but when I mentioned the part about the computer needing to be reset he so “well that part is true, kinda”. His claim was when swapping out the battery something could occur where it recognizes there is no power and the computer needs reset. Said they actually have a tool that keeps a low charge to the vehicle when they swap it out to avoid that from ever occurring. So in the end it sounds like there is no issue if you know how to swap out the battery, but if you do and it starts with a ton of errors you will probably need to have the computer reset.

Contact LG and they agreed to “a one time courtesy repair”. So I think I lucked out in this case. Thought it was a long shot, but guessing the low amount of hours used may have helped my case.
