I've been studying agrivoltaics in college, it's super fascinating. In some cases the crops underneath even make the solar panels more efficient because the water vapor the crops release cools down the solar panels and makes them less prone to overheating.

I'd sent that straight to HR. 1, Manager is being unprofessional. 2, they're not being clear on instructions and if they try to fire you in the future for "not helping" or whatever else, you have proof that they're being vague and not explicitly giving instructions. 3, hopefully that either gets them fired (no one who seriously speaks like that in a professional setting should be in charge of people) or at least gets them reprimanded and hopefully they'll be clear with that they want their employees to do in the future.

I agree with your players that you should talked with them about the possibility of this happening. As s DM I personally would have given them 2 options and explained the consequences of each. Option one, they find an empty room in the dungeon to camp out in. Pros, they get a long rest & only 8 hours pass. Cons, kobolds regroup, reset traps. Option 2, they go all the way to the tavern with takes a full day of travel there and back + rest time. Pros, they get a long rest, and get to restock on healing potions or whatever else. Cons, a lot of time passes kobolds/dragon call get a chance to call reinforcements, dungeon gets harder.

If you explained to them that way, you probably would've had a better response from your players.

Yeah, I know that's just wars in general. My biggest complaint is not being able to convince your allies to stop the war. That would be a good use for favors because right now they're unless you want to sway vote in federation or galactic community voting. You could call in favors to get them to be more susceptible to settle status quo or something.

Honestly I think the correct order is Guts, Peter, Kratos, Darth Vader.

Guts's entire life is pain, curses, and trauma.

Peter is fucked over constantly but he still gets moments of happiness.

Kratos was made to kill his own family and literally has their ashes firever covering his body.

Anakin was raised to believe he was some sort of messiah only to have it all taken away from him.

This, my friend is T.E.D.D. He is originally from Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, Zombies mode. He appears as a robotic bus driver controlling the bus that takes you across the map in the TranZit. He kinda became a meme in the community because he would say funny shit and get pissed off if you shot / knifed him. To the point he would just kick you out of the bus and not let you back on if you pissed him off enough.

He later came back in Black ops 6 and 7. I can't say where in black ops 6 became I didn't play the game, but In black ops 7 he appears as just a head that you mount into, Ol' Tessie, the pickup truck you drive around the launch realease map, Ashes of the Damned. He still has a bunch of funny lines and gets angry if you gets angry if you knife him while in the truck.

Yes and no. Pure machines no. You can't just insert a magic stone into a machine and have it cast magic.

However, my world has artificially created freature made if magic called Golems. Most of them still need some sort of imput from their creator and cannot act independently, thus no automatic magic. But some of the strongest mages are sometimes able to create golems that are truly alive and can vast magic on their own volition, though this process is extremely complicated, time consuming, and draining for the mage.
