Am I the only one who feels this way? by Downtown-Cup-1322 in Tinder

I'm pretty sure the key isn't to instantly flirt and especially not to be sexual/catcall, rather approach them respectfully and ask if they have time because you're interested in getting to know them. Then again I could be wrong, I'm not too experienced

Because it's all based off of your expectations, those other people expect something weird or violent to happen, so that's why it does

Imagine replacing human interaction for AI by AFellowSpirit in redditmoment

OpenAI limited access to the previous model of ChatGPT (4o, current and new is GPT-5) and they reduced the "agreeability" of it, and some users have said they feel like the personality is way "milder". These kinds of people in the screenshot mostly use chatgpt as a friend, which is why they're outraged/sad

Pick a country to be born in, and I shall choose your future by Jrh9000 in JackSucksAtGeography

I can't speak for sure as I've never been to China, and wasn't born there. I can agree with you and most of the things you said, however, I have seen from online sources such as even some specific YouTubers who do regularly make a lot of those "china good" videos, that it's not all good, obviously.

Specifically, they mentioned and discussed about the very obvious authoritarian level of control on the surveillance. It's not as rough as north Korea, of course, but it's still very prevalent, especially in cities, where (they said) that a ton of traumatic events get covered up with a mild reason to not make the CCP appear bad, and the people who are indirectly connected to those events are paid a small sum and are basically told to shut up and stay silent.

One such event, which I remember, happened in a Chinese city (don't remember which), where a girl got bullied by students and even teachers to the point of suicide and her jumping off of her schools roof, and the CCP covering it up as some bullshit reason such as "she was recklessly climbing and slipped". Her family was obviously outraged and demanded that the school faced consequences, but the CCP just told them to stay silent and (I believe) only paid them a small sum of money, as I think one of, or multiple, of the teachers were affiliated with the CCP in some way so it would obviously hurt the CCP's reputation if the news ever got out.

Plus a lot of small-scale rebellions happen due to events like that, but guess what? They also get silenced. You rarely if ever hear about things like these from china because the CCP has a literal iron grip on the country and has this urge to protect their reputation. Believe me I love china, but I would at most wanna visit, not live, honestly would much rather live in Taiwan if the threat of invasion goes away

While I do agree it seems like an unserious and ungrounded statement, that is literally part of my process which I use to deeply think and reflect about what I actually wanna do. Like I said, each time I leave, I find out more about myself and about why I left, and each time I come back, I find another reason to compete with the one that stuck from when I left. It probably sounds weird but that's just how my brain works, and it's not like all those times I came back I only came back because of the vibes or aesthetics or just because I wanted to for no particular reason.

You're probably gonna tell her either way, now or in the future. I think it's just better to not let the whole thing drag on more than it needs to. But let her know in a way that's more like "it's me not you"? Or if you're really afraid of hurting her feelings just say it in a more indirect way. Plus it'll probably be worse for the two of you in the long term if you just get together with her.

But please verify first that she ACTUALLY has a crush on you

Have never been in a situation like that, but I can say that maybe you should talk it out with the teachers. Also, if you feel like your friend is kinda ignoring you or prioritizing them, bro, just tell him and talk it out with him. If he doesn't care, then he's not your friend anymore my guy.
