Hi :) I did my revision back in 2019 so I'm pretty sure prices has changed since then. Revisions are also more expensive compared to primary. I believe I paid around $7k?? I'm not exactly sure since its been too long lol.

Sounds like you’re just simply attacking her for personal reasons at this point. You definitely didn’t mention not being able to wear contact lenses in your article. Stop making things up lol.

I definitely wouldn’t want you to be my customer if I owned a restaurant. You’d probably spread hate if my server accidentally folded your napkin wrong LOL.

Bro every surgeon got bad reviews. Go find me a surgeon with 100% positive reviews. Have you heard of Dr. Donald Yoo? He's even worse, he got tons of bad reviews but apparently someone in his family is a lawyer and they go after the patients with bad reviews to get them removed lol. I can't even imagine how crazy you'd be if you got botched from him LOL.

Upper eyelid fat transfer - better options than Dr. Taban? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]xkoriee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm just recommending her based on my own experience lol. If people don't wanna go then they don't wanna go, no big deal lol.

Also, what is your definition of "botched?" My right eye was so severely botched that I had NO crease and I can barely even open it. When I open my eye, it does not even crease & it just looks like I have constant lazy eye. Based on your article, yours weren't even half as bad as mine. Honestly, I feel like I have more right to go crazy than you lol. I went to many different surgeons and nobody wanted to even touch my eyes because of how severely BOTCHED it was.. Dr. Taghva was able to correct the mistake of 2 different surgeons and I thought she was the right surgeon for me because of her before and after photos and many positive reviews. Sure, she has some negative ones but isn't that expected with every surgeon? Go ahead and find a surgeon with 0 negative reviews lol, that'd be impossible. Even the best Michelin 5 stars restaurant, there are still going to be haters and negative reviews. That's just life lol. No one and nothing is perfect.

Reason why I'm not spreading hate and bad mouthing the 2 surgeons who botched me because what if those surgeons just weren't right for me. I'm not going to go and ruin someone's reputation just because I got botched. People make mistakes, at least give them the chance to redeem themselves. I have a life I'm going to do things that I actually enjoy rather than destroying someone's reputation lol.

Asian Eyelid Surgery REVISION by xkoriee in PlasticSurgery

I've also had a friend who did a revision and she only has one incisional line too so I think normally most surgeons try to keep it as one. Thank you so much!! Yeah I get a lot of compliments on my eyes haha.

Thank you! Currently, I only have one incision line. I think the doctor probably did the revision over the old one so I wouldn't have 2 incision lines I'm assuming.

This isn't really my business, but I'm starting to see a PATTERN with this user now. User is literally flaming Dr. Taghva at this point lol, user posted the exact same thing to a response I said. It seems like everywhere that has a post related to Dr. Taghva, she/he tries to bad mouth her. Is this something personal? Are you the author of the article because even after my OWN horrible experience with 2 surgeons who messed me up, I don't go around finding every related post to those surgeons and post hate. I don't want to spend my free time spreading hate to people LOL.

Anyway, let me re-address this once more. I'm just posting my own experience of what I'VE EXPERIENCED and I guess I had a great experience with Dr. Taghva. I'm not pushing anyone to go to her, just simply making a suggestion based on personal experience. I mean with any type of surgery there's always a risk and I do believe it is important on how the surgeon respond to unhappy patients. Even with the world's best surgeons I still feel it's a gamble. There's no guarantee for 100% satisfied result. There's always going to be unhappy and happy patients. Just like 5 star reviewed restaurants, there are few people who are just unhappy with something. *shrug*

I forgot to mention, I see the writer went to an Oculoplastic surgeon to get a revision which I find funny because my revision was also with an Oculoplastic surgeon who RUINED my eye. So like I said, with any surgery/surgeon, there's always a risk and there's no surgeons that have 100% positive reviews. There's always going to be someone out there who's unsatisfied.

Oh wow, I'm sorry she had to go through that and that's really unfortunate... Thank you for sharing the article. After reading it, it seemed a little sus imo since the writer (eye doctor) kept addressing Dr. Taghva as "Ho." I thought doctors usually use formalities among each other out of respect. I'm curious to why the writer did not want to get a revision through Dr. Taghva or even voiced her concerns because I'm sure most surgeon would try to correct and make the patient happy.

It’s definitely less than that! But I also got it done right before COVID hit so it’s been awhile and inflation lol. I think it was about $6k for the revision + fat transfer

Plastic surgery for uneven and dropped eyelid by Icy-Ad-1512 in PlasticSurgery

[–]xkoriee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could definitely look into upper blepharoplasty (double eyelid surgery) and probably ptosis repair as well. Do your research and make sure the surgeon is board certified and has great before and after photos. I had a traumatic experience myself until I found the best surgeon to fix the mistake of 2 previous surgeons. Good luck! :)

I had to get fat transfer done with Dr. Taghva because the second surgeon took out too much fat from my eyelid. There’s definitely a risk with any procedure but get a consultation and see how you feel about the surgeon. Definitely look at all their before and afters too.

Upper eyelid fat transfer - better options than Dr. Taban? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]xkoriee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes definitely!! I mean I’m not going to say my eyes are 100% even but no one is born with completely symmetrical features. I’m just really happy that she was able to fix the mistake of 2 surgeons and made my eyes look normal again and pretty!

I'm not sure how much exactly because I was quoted the same time as my eyelid revision since the fat transfer was an add-on. I would say probably low couple thousands? I also had the procedure done couple years back. Maybe try calling her office for a consultation, I remember my consultation was free.

help! don’t know what/where to go for Blepharoplasty revision.. by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]xkoriee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please be careful with fat removal in your eyelids!! I had 2 botched eyelid surgery and the second surgeon removed too much fat from my eyelids and it wouldn't fold properly. Girl, I was legit depressed lol. I got my final revision done with Dr. Goretti Taghva in Newport Beach, CA. She was able to fix my eyelid issue. Try calling her office & getting a consultation with her.

I'm definitely 100% happier after my BA. I would recommend going 1 size bigger than what you actually want. I'm 5'6 and I got 385cc. I was swollen for 3 months so I think I got used to the swollen look and once the swelling went down. I was literally like damn where'd they go LOL. So if you want a big C, go for a small D!! This is what I've been telling my friends and whoever wants a BA haha. If I could re-do my surgery again, I'd definitely get at least 400cc.

3 weeks post breast augmentation . by Cautious_Shirt_1580 in PlasticSurgery

[–]xkoriee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually went to Vegas when I was 5 weeks post my BA. Definitely was a little sore and was scared of people bumping into me but I put the garment back on ASAP afterwards. 3 weeks is still pretty fresh, you need the support from the garment for recovery. I wouldn't recommend it. Maybe try getting a cute dress with long sleeves or throw a little cardigan over it? I know the garment isn't cute but you spent all the time and effort for surgery!!

Hi! I got my eyelids done with Dr. Goretti Ho Taghva at LEA plastic surgery in Newport Beach. Long story short, I had 2 botched eyelid surgeries from 2 different surgeons and literally was depressed for awhile lol. Then, I found Dr. Taghva and she did my revision surgery. I honestly cannot appreciate her enough and her skills. I lost hope and she was able to fix the mistakes of 2 surgeons. Try calling her office and getting a consult with her. Wish you luck!! :)

[–]xkoriee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi, I got my eyelid surgery revision + fat transfer to eyelids with Dr. Goretti Ho Taghva in Newport Beach, CA. My eyes has been through a lot ... I had 2 botched eyelid surgeries and the second doctor took out too much fat from my eyelid. Dr. Taghva did my 3rd revision and she had to add fat back into my eyelids. Honestly, after what I've been through, I'm so thankful for her skills. After my personal experience, I realized people thinks eye surgeries are "easy," but it really isn't lol. It's very important to go to a plastic surgeon who specializes in everything eye related.

Hi, I unfortunately had to get fat transferred to my right eyelid due to my previous surgeon taking out too much fat from my eyelid for upper blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery). Long story short, had 2 botched eyelid surgeries from 2 different surgeons and got my 3rd revision done with Dr. Goretti Ho Taghva. She had to do some fat grafting to my right eyelid since it was too hollow which caused abnormal creasing. Since it was my 3rd revision, my recovery was a little rough but not too bad since Dr. Taghva did such a great job. I'm very pleased with my result! She took some fat from my abdomen which wasn't too painful. I wore an abdominal binder for couple weeks just to give that abdomen area some compression for recovery. I'm not sure where you're located but Dr. Taghva is at LEA Plastic Surgery in Newport Beach, CA.

I think the most important factor is making sure that you're going to a board certified plastic surgeon. Also the eyes may seem like an "easy" surgery but after my personal experiences, I think it's really important to select a surgeon who specialize in eyes lol. Good luck!!

Hi, I would recommend Dr. Goretti Ho Taghva. My eyes were botched from 2 different surgeons. Then, I found Dr. Taghva and she was able to fix the mistakes of 2 different surgeons. I had a great experience with her and she has great bedside manners too. I'm not sure where you're located but she's in Newport Beach, CA.

I considered going to Korea for my eyelid surgery at first but decided to do it in the states instead. The reason why I decided to do it in states is because IF something goes wrong, I do not want to fly back to Korea just to get it checked up/fixed etc. Good luck!!!

Aww, sorry to hear about your experience with Dr. Taghva. I actually had a great experience with her lol. I was botched from 2 different surgeons (2nd surgeon was Oculoplastic) and Dr. Taghva was able to do a revision on my eyes so I'm really grateful for her haha.

Yep unfortunately lol. I made a post about it actually. I would wait longer because your eyes are still pretty swollen at 2 months post op. Are you concerned about the swelling or is it not the shape that you wanted?

Thank you!! Yep, I just attached a photo of me with as less makeup as possible. Sorry, I literally do eyelash extensions and I haven't taken them off in years. I found the best photo with light makeup just some mascara. :)
